I love the Follett pick. I think he is an under-rated pass rusher.

I guess now that we have OT Marvel Smith, my mock can possibly happen.

You think we'll go with a tweener like Jenkins?? I'd rather see us go after a true CB if we target a DB.

I agree. No chance a kid that athletic will fall past round 2. I'd love to pick him in the second but I seriously doubt he lasts until 43.

You know, I am personally really against NOT drafting in the trenches with the no. 10 pick. There are too many more pressing needs than corner to take IMO. A. Smith, Raji, Oher to name a few.
I also was a Johnson supporter at the beginning of the off season. But he's dropping the draft boards for a reason. I think another OLB might be of better value.
Other then that I love the last picks
I like Michael Oher a lot, but I just thought since we will most-likely sign Marvel Smith soon, that you guys would think an OT in the 1st round would be too much.
Unless there's a crazy chance a guy like Crabtree or Orakpo are still on the board at 10...I'm hoping the Niners trade down...nab a guy like Oher and stock up some extra round picks.
I agree with your statement though.
if we do sign marvel smith shouldnt we take maclin cause bruce is going to retire
its a strong possibility

Jenkins is a CB/S tweener, I don't want him.

I know I picked Malcolm Jenkins @ #10, but I still really want OT Michael Oher. Even though we now have Marvel Smith, I still think we need quality depth on the O-line. (As a backup plan if Marvel Smith gets injured.) We may even be able to trade back, pick up an additional draft pick and still get Michael Oher! I'm just not sure if I would want to take that chance? JUST DRAFT OHER @ #10.

Tul...well, we've signed M. Smith, but I wouldn't necessarily change your mock. The bid kid from Ore. would be fine to learn from Marvel.
I know there's controversy about Johnson, but he could be a unique player in the NFL.
Jennings will be a very nice compliment to Gore.
Follet's good...Lewis is decent CB. I like how you finished your mock...strongly. Turner has the tools to be an excellent RZ target, Wilson could learn the offense without having to play right way, and Knighton's a big body who can compete at NT.
Good effort.
