Time to Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is for the upcoming NFL Draft in regards to the 49ers first round draft pick. First list the top 3 players you think the Niners will select at #10. Second list the top 3 players you want the Niners to select at #10. Finally list the top 3 players you don't want the Niners to select. Example
Think
1. Oher
2. Andre Smith
3. Jenkins
Want
1. Orakpo
2.
3. Oher
Don't want
1. Sanchez
2. Brown
3. Andre Smith
Simple. Players can show up in more than one category like the example above. This way we have one thread to reference at the end of the season to see where everyone stood.

Think
A. Smith--Fits the bill and Coach S. can mold him
M. Sanchez or trade back--?s at QB make this very plausible
M. Oher--Another OT who fits the Singletary OL mold
Realistic Want
Crabtree--He just may be too much of a good thing to get passed Oak. Can start now.
Maclin--He just may be the one to drop instead of Crabtree. Can start now.
Raji--I would love for him to replace Franklin, he won't get passed GB, IMO. Can start now.
No Way at #10!
A. Maybin--Not a project at 10 which is what he would be. Never played LB.
E. Brown--E. Brown, L. English, C. Barwin, M. Johnson, P. Kruger, Veikune...any diff that really separates Brown from the others...hmmmmm, it doesn't look like it to me.
We need an immediate impact player at #10 who can contribute from day one!

*My want list is based on who I believe will be available. For example, I want Curry but do not believe he is going to be available so he is not on my want list.

Think:
Sanchez- Possibility he fits management's plans as the QB of the future, would fill seats easily with USC background.
Jenkins- Slower 40 time might have bumped him down a bit, but he might be BPA at the time of pick.
Oher- Good bet if tackle is the need addressed in round 1.
Want:
Raji- Stout, athletic prospect who would shore up NT for the next decade.
Crabtree- Superb ability to run routes and and make clutch plays with his hands. Some dog his lack of burner speed but recall Fitz and Boldin posted a 4.5 and 4.7 respectively, IIRC.
Jenkins- Safest pick in the draft IMO. Veteran player from a pedigree program, does not yet have ideal 40 time but KILLED it in his 20 yd shuttle drill showing his ability to move hips and adjust quickly. Can produce right away at FS or CB.
Do NOT Want:
Maybin- One year wonder who came out too early IMO. Better/safer value at edge rusher in the 2nd/3rd rounds with prospects like English, Barwin, Sintim, and Sidbury Jr.
Any RB- Not a big enough need to justify 1st round contract. Good depth in later rounds with A. brown, D. Brown, Greene, and Jennings.
A. Smith- WAY to many character concern red flags. Out of shape, attitude problems, no thank you. He has talent but we would essentially be giving LT money to a RT pick with a high bust potential.
