Let's wait until we see how Hill and Smith do this year, and where the picks are next year, before we start trying to trade them for unproven QBs. But maybe a year from now, it will a good option.

what has quinn done to be worthy of a 1st or a 2nd round pick in return? his draft day value is gone, and he hasnt done crap yet but get hurt and sit on the bench. id give them next years 3rd and 6th or something. maybe.

Get Quinn, young, he is ready to start, and NO signing bonus.... Worth the risk... They need a WR... How about Jones + our 2nd round pick 2010 for Quinn

Quinn is the real deal...
Yeah he is coming in at under %50 completion rate and with 2tds and 2ints in 2 years proves it. If we trade anything more than a 4th for Quinn i will hunt down McCloughan

Wow, you are the most gullible person in the history of sports fans. Let's just give him next year's MVP trophy while you're at it.

yeah i highly doubt the Browns would trade out of the spot Sanchez was taken in so they can deal their 1st round QB selection from 2 years ago and keep a horrible Derek Anderson at starter.
if they were going to deal Quinn, they wouldve drafted Sanchez, and then immediately traded someone Quinn for another 1st or 2nd rounder yesterday.

Actually, shortly after the trade went down, I immediately thought about Peppers...then Boldin. As much as being patient sucks, it's just not gonna happen...I think...
Adding Crabtree, then Peppers via trade would've put us right up there with the Cards for class of the division...
One dream came true today. Why not another?

This tells me that the Niners might be thinking about using a first rounder to trade for a player this year. Now that we locked up Crabtree, and don't need Braylon or Boldin, what about trading for Brady Quinn?
IMO, getting Quinn for what amounts to a 2nd rounder would be a great deal.
can I ask what Quinn has done to be considered better than Shaun Hill? He's got a stronger arm, fine, but the kid's a looser and has sucked thus far
