yes they could use him. we think coffe will work, but proof is in the puddin, and he is a bruiser like gore. we need a shifty guy to offset the d. i think he would help more than coffee. but coffee is sick.
i think we should let this year ride out before passing judgement. new york had 2 bruisers and that worked for them. hopefully coffee can be our brandon jacobs. id love to have best with gore and coffee, but at what price? a guy with his talent is gonna go early, im not a draft expert like some of you guys but id expect him to go pretty early and i wouldnt wast a 1st day pick on a position that were good at when we have other areas that need more help
How many more seasons do you see Gore having?
Not trying to make a point just curious. Anyone else feel free to respond.
I think Gore has 3 more productive years in him. I think 2011 being his last year as the featured back. He may make pull off another year, but that's about it. But, next two years, I expect big numbers from him.

realistically he probably has 3-4 great years left because hell be close to 30 but i think he could still be productive, probably wont be the starter like u say but he'll still be a good back. i think coffee may push him in a year or too for more plaing time because coffee is a beast IMO

I can agree with that. I think his next two years will be his best though, as long as he stays healthy.

We need to ride out the season first and see where we stand at years end to evaluate if we should be spending a high pick on a RB in next year's draft or not. If the answer is yes then there is more than 1 back we should be looking at. In terms of the smaller quicker guys available like Best, there is also CJ Spillman, Joe McKnight & Noel Devine to consider IMO.

4 or 5 and in that time there will be plenty of awesome RB prospects for us to choose from

i think hed work better than coffee...... i like havin 1 shifty guy and a bruiser like gore. coffee and gore both bruisers. i like both combos, i just think it work out better. i just dont get how similar runner compliments gore. gettin the d to change helps. but well see this season.

the awesome thing about having two bruisers is that the defense doesnt get a rest. they get punished and softened up for the end of the game when one of them breaks it open. LB's can only take so much pounding from two big ass RB's all game long. by 3rd quarter most of them will be tired and bruised and our guys will be fresher since we have a guy to take the full load off of gore. thats when you see the long runs. the giants thrived on it with jacobs and the other guy last year (his name escapes me)

Frank Gore is the best running back in the Bay Area, and yes, we can and do use him.
