This guy can't get ANY credit. He's been asked to win games only on occasions, and he's come through. He did his job against AZ, he did his job against MN (on the final drive the ball was taken out of his hands), he did his job against MN last year. He did his job against every team we beat last year (2nd half of the season). The guy keeps performing. He's had 1 pick this year and it was only because Delaine fell. He's has a career passer rating in the 90s. And people want to replace him with who? Tebow? The guy who hails from a system that made Alex Smith a 1st overral pick? McCoy? A great leader with exceptional intagibles that has unimpressive physical skills? Hmmm, sounds like a hell of an upgrade over Hill. Or Bradford? Has that guy ever seen pressure? Yeh, a few times, and he's looked terrible. Snead is playing like a 5th rounder at this time, so lets not ever attempt going down that rout. Steve Young, Steve Mariucci, Mike Martz, and Phil Simms, have all referred to Hill as a "Great" QB, but the fans want a Tony Romo -- big armed looser. Great

Between Hill and Nate Davis, I don't think we are taking a QB in the first two rounds of the 2010 draft. I think we target another O-lineman and perhaps a DT.

Don't think Bradford will come out anyways, and we definitely won't be in position to draft him next year. With that said, lets pick Brian Brohm of Green Bay's practice squad and trade Smith to the Fins for a 7th round pick.

i hope we dont take a qb, davis has all the tools to become a very good starter more than just a gm manager. save our 1st picks for other needs.

I hope the coaches see that and don't keep trying to make A.Smith work. They really need to cut their losses. Only reason he's still on the roster is because of how much money they spent on his ass.

Agreed. After seeing Berry REALLY play this season (finally), I gotta say, we gotta focus the 2010 draft on Berry. To have him in the backfield would allow our defense to play more press coverage, it would also help Michael Lewis step up in the box more.

And like I said in the post right before yours, trade Smith to the Fins or whoever, then pick up Brian Brohm off Green Bay's practice squad.

I'm not sure?? But I like Michael as our SS, solid tackler who's pretty decent in coverage. I'm not yet sold on Goldson and I would use him as our swing Safety or in Dime coverages, same role Roman is playing.
