Tebow sucks. anybody but that guy. i cant stand him. he's like the poster child for douchebags.
How about Michael Crabtree, Michael Vick, Albert Haynesworth, T.O., Pacman Jones?
Those guys are poster children for douchebags.
Tim Tebow is a greater and more genuine person then you will ever be.
Im starting to hope the niners don't get Tebow just so someone else can win a superbowl.
you know him personally? if not, dont talk about how genuine he is. please.
and by "douchebag" i was talking about the preppy white kid who wears pink lacoste shirts with a popped collar and a livestrong bracelet. and to top it off he kisses his teammates on the lips. garrison hearst made a 49ers locker room rule about those kinds of guys.
actually yes i do. I was part of the film crew who filmed the games and put the highlights together. I've spoken with him many times.
Did you dangle on his sack in real life or do you just do that on the internet?

smith sucks cuz of his slow ass release and bad mechanics. Tebow seems to have all the tools to produce in the NFL. I dont see why everyone is so hell bent on knocking the dude.
People are just so focused that Tebow is playing under Urban Meyer just like Alex Smith. That doesn't mean that Tebow and Alex are the same player. Tebow plays with a lot more emotion and seems to have that "never lose" attitude just like Jeff Garcia. He's won the Heisman, won games and national championships against some very tough opponents. He brings the energy and sets the tone. That's a great player to have on your team.
a bit late to this discussion, but i agree. i know the jury is still somewhat out on rodgers, but if you think all quarterbacks are a product of their college coaches, that would mean boller and rodgers are comparable. i mean they both played in tedford's system and both had good college careers. one is looking good and the other? i dunno where boller even is anymore.
i see no similarities between tebow and smith. two different quarterbacks who just happen to play for meyer.
in all, i think tebow will be a good NFL qb. i think our style of offense would be a good slow paced offense for him to get his feet wet in. lots of running with a qb who manages a game and makes the small throws to keep the chains moving. he is definitely faster than hill.
but in all, i would rather davis get a shot at the starting QB role.

Tim Tebow is strictly that, a winner.
I went to Nease highschool while Tebow was quarterback and was witness to his greatness many times. The dude once broke his leg in the 3rd quarter only to stay in the game and run a 27 yard touchdown in the 4th to tie the game. He led us to a championship victory in 2005 on a season where our only loss came to the # 2 ranked team in the nation Hoover Highschool. Tebow brought the school from a 2-8 season to a championship. He did that by making those around him stronger through courage and the spirit of winning. This guy knows how to motivate a team to win. He brought the gators back to beat Oklahoma in the BCS championship. Did you see him get fired up in the locker room? This guy is legendary and he needs to be on our roster next season, we wont regret using a 1st rounder on him.
Heres something else you wont regret, check this out

Agreed with your post as well. I like Tebow and his style of play, but I would much prefer Nate Davis as our QB.
