On ESPN they showed Tebow's halftime speech where he is screaming and yelling and pumping his team up. He yells, "we've got 30 minutes for the rest of our lives!!!"

Isn't that the exact line from Varsity Blues the movie, when they get rid of their coach and what's his name makes a speech to get the team back on track?

The coach (Jon Voight) says play the next 30 minutes for the rest of your lives and after he leaves the locker room because the players aren't responding Mox says lets play the next 30 minutes for the next 30 minutes and leave it all on the field.

Seriously? Like what doesnt he have? The only thing about him is not playing from under center. He has a good arm, good touch and accuracy. Best thing the guy has a good head on his shoulders, speed, size and the most important thing of all he makes everyone around him better. There are a ton of games of this kid winning and being the dominant force behind those games. Close games, blow outs, short, medium and deep passes, scrambling, blowing people up at the goalline. These are all on his highlight reel for each season hes played so far.

Slow release? Youre out of your mind. Gators never had great OL. If this kid had a slow release he would have been dog meat in the SEC year after year. Hell I hate the Gators as a UM fan but this kid has everything you want in a prospect size, speed, arm, charisma, the "IT" factor. Put the hatorade down buddy its no help to you.


Urban Meyer product yeah I remember. We ruined Smith from his 1st season to his last starting season. Never built a OL worth a s**t for him. No WR help at all, multiple horrid OCs, a HC who called him out after he still played with a shredded shoulder. We did everything you shouldnt do to a rookie QB. Hell we patented the model of what you dont do to rookie QB.

I get really tired of hearing about Tebow's speeches and promises and whatever. If it works for his team, good for them. I'm just not sure why the rest of us are supposed to fall all over ourselves with mancrushes for him.
