then in the 2nd take the needed QB or pass rusher depending on what the 1st round yielded..

This. QB, NT and pass rusher all need to be addressed with our first 3 picks.

Cody, McCoy and a pass rusher in the second. (Or perhaps earlier if we trade Crabs for another first rounder or get some kind of compensation pick from the Jets.)

365 on a 6'5" frame is not a weight problem...not to mention camp Singletary would likely drop his weight down to a nice 345ish...the guy is built to be a 3-4 NT...itd be like having a 6'8" 225lb wide receiver..

dude, the weight problem is that he cant drop his weight to 345, he is too lazy.

What are you talking about? He was close to 400 lbs when Nick Saban recruited him. Saban told him to drop down to 365 or else he wouldn't play him and that's exactly what Cody did. He is not lazy at all.
Does anyone know what Cody's playing weight is? I thought he was down to 350lbs for the season.

Can anyone confirm it?

Edit: Cody Article

2009: Listed at 354lbs
2008: Played around 370lbs
Recruited at 400lbs

No....what they list him at may not necessarily be accurate. Happens all the time with heights and weights with college kids. He may be 354...could be lighter could be heavier. Until either the Senior Bowl or Combine we won't have anything concrete.

Like I said right now he is but a 2 down player who has had weight issues. He dropped weight because he knew he would not have played. That does not constitute being not lazy but is does show determination. I do worry about his health with these weight issues and what toll they take on his body especially his knees.

He is big yes and dominant but he may not be so dominant early on in his career, we all know he will face bigger stronger and smarter competition in the NFL. He needs to improve his conditioning and play with a lower pad level as he is too upright. Maybe worth a late 1st round but would wait on passing fair judgment until after we see what happens with his offseason. Right now there are some question marks around him and people are putting too much stock into his size. There may be better prospects out there for the 1 gap 3-4 but let's let the season play out before we decide which basket would be best to put our eggs in.
Either Foster Farms or Harris Beef would be thrilled if we signed him. He would be the ultimate spokesman for their product line.

.....or Casey Hampton, who I think will become more available to us than Wilfork will be. I hate that damn franchise tag.
