Who can address our need at Right Tackle?

Am I the only one that would prefer to sign one in FA? I guess I'm just worried about how slowly they may develop their first season

Other than RB and DB and OT might be the easiest positions at which one can transition from college to the NFL... For example: Ryan Clady, Joe Thomas, Joe Staley, Marcus McNeil.

Im personally hoping for Trent Williams at somewhere around #10. IF we are able to grab him, then we will be in luck as he already possesses excellent technique.

usually OTs in FA are old and then we have o draft one later this way we can solve the problem for at least 6 or 7 years also not to many busts as OT so thats a good thing

Bryan Bulaga is my pick for a RT later in the first or early second.

I doubt he makes it to the second round. I'd take him with our second first.

Berry and Bulaga and then sign Merrimen this offseason.....hell yeah!!!!

That, my friend, is a dream offseason
We need to draft a monster right tackle to put next to Rachal on that side of the line

Whoever models themselves after Kevin Gogan, minus the penalties would be fine by me.

Gogan is a stoner.. I ran into him buying a bong, while I was buying cigars in Sammamish, WA.. He is a hard guy to miss, still really big, but not as big as he used to be.

Could a RT be one of our 1st round picks?

Wasnt Kwame Harris our last first round pick on a lineman?

We must do way better than that

Sign a reliable FA to play RT. No more high draft choices on the O-Line in the short term, a 1st, 2 2nds and a 3rd is enough. A reliable FA is what the line needs, I would've loved Stacey Andrews this year.
Sam Young of Notre Dame in early day two.
I really want a RT to give us bookends for many years to come. I don't care if it is first or second round pick.
If Carolina keeps this up, we may be looking at Trent Williams

Trent Williams is horrible at LT this year. He will not be a top 10 pick imo.

With the lack of OT talent coming out I think he might be. Williams (RT), Okung (LT), and perhaps Bulaga, will likely be the only 1st rounders, and we've seen recently how these guys get overdrafted due to their importance.
