Scott Wright's SUPER early mock draft

We pick up OT Trent Williams with the Panther's pick at 8 and CB Patrick Robinson with our own pick at 23.
Thoughts?

Link
The way our corners are playing now, I think we wait on a corner. Hopefully we go with one OT with either pick, maybe second if we can snag Eric Berry. If he's gone, then I think we go OT first and maybe pick up another pass rusher with our second first rounder.
I like the first pick to solidify the o-line with a right tackle. I would really like to take Jerry Hughes from TCU to shore up the pass rush.
i dont think the browns draft berry

the need help on offense very badly

berry would be the smart pick though
As someone who is firmly in the draft-BPA camp, I would have to say no to drafting an OL with the Carolina pick. The value simply doesn't appear to be there.

Hopefully, the Panthers will put us in a position to pick up either Berry,McCoy or Suh. Thats where the talent is.
According to a link that Kolohe posted in another thread, Trent Williams will be returning to the Sooners next year.

Locker in the top 10. Wow, he's being overrated.

That would be the smart move on his part as it would give him time to nail down the LT spot a bit more.

The offensive tackle group doesn't impress me too much this upcoming draft

There are three top 20 worthy picks at OT if you believe most draftniks - Okung, Bulaga, and T. Williams. The Niners have to consider taking one of those three guys based on their current situation. They should have a decent shot at all three if the Panthers continue to struggle for the rest of this season.

Well we can take Trent Williams out of that list. I heard Bulaga wasn't doing too well and might even project to a guard in the NFL. Okung might be gone by the time we pick. Maybe Anthony Davis from Rutgers?

Damn sounds like the 49ers are really gonna have to do there homework to find a RT that they can plug in to start right away & be there for years to come.

49ers are better off looking for a RT prospect in free agency.

did you look at that link? It's dated January 15, 2009 and is in reference to this past April's draft. It also says Gresham is going back when he's already stated he's declaring. Williams is also a senior this year and can't go back unless he gets hurt and gets a medical redshirt. There will be an abundance of underclassmen declaring with the rookie cap coming in 2011.

Read it carefully and now read this one

The first link is in reference to the draft that already passed.....the 2009 draft in which we took Crabtree and alludes to those players returning for THIS current 2009 college football season. And if Bradford did say he was returning for next year, which he did not, why would Scott Wright--a guy who makes a living making mock drafts--have him number 1 overall?

Easy killer. I was just going on what Kolohe had posted. I'm at work and am unable to click on every link that people post.
