Unless we get McCoy or Locker I wouldn't take a QB in the first. O-line is more important at this point as is Safety and Pass Rusher.

Hill is a decent qb, but you simply cannot win consistently without a franchise QB, and if you expect to win it all without one, then you pretty much need an all-time great defense like the '85 Bears or the '00 Ravens. Even then, those teams only won once. Sing should understand this, since he was on those Bears teams.
If it were up to me, I'd use our 1st round pick on QB every year until we got it right.
and thats why you will never be a GM

I say no and for a couple of reasons.
1. We really need to rebuild our offensive line. And at least 2 of our draft picks should be to find starters on that line or to provide some much needed depth. And no matter which QB we have back there, it doesn't matter if our line doesn't protect him. And if our o-line gets shored up then our running game will get better which will benefit the entire team.
2. I believe Nate Davis is the QB of the future. He was projected as a first day pick and for whatever reason he slid to us in the 5th. Nate has the accuracy, poise and arm to be an elite quarterback. His learning disability, I think, is irrelevant when it comes to football.

I agree with you, especially about the disability, I think some fans overplay it.

There are a ton of crappy teams in the NFL who have been crappy for a long time because they never fixed their QB problems. If you keep ignoring the problem, it won't exactly fix itself.

Have you seen his offensive line?
Then take a look at ours.
Actually that does give me hope that we can win with Hill, except I think it would take more resources and more time to fix the OL than it would be to draft a franchise QB who can make everyone (WRs included) look better.
