Other than Right Tackle, its all BPA

Our only real NEED is a RT...that's it. Our secondary is much much better when healthy. We're 14th in sacks, and we don't even blitz that much. With a healthy secondary, we'd have even more.

I actually agree with this....now, I do believe we need depth across the board, but every team does so we're not in terrible shape overall. We could use high-end young talent in the secondary, but I suspect that if we upgraded our pass rush, our secondary play would improve even without an infusion of young talent.

Agree with that.

People need to remember that Dashon Goldson is only in his first year as a starting safety...he's learning a lot right now, and should have a much stronger year next year.

Anyone who doesn't think we need a pass rusher is crazy.

Just because we have sacks on this team doesn't mean we have a pass rush.

We have to manufacture our pass rush by blitzing and scheming - which means if someone schemes better than us we get nothing except our secondary picked apart.

We desperately need that guy who has to be accounted for on every passing down. Someone who can just beat the other team's OT to get us a consistent pass rush. When you get one dominant guy like that it allows the other guys to do much better and allows you more room for different playcalls where you can still get pass rush.

Hell we need a good offensive line coach more than we need a RT. As one guy said "You can coach offense but you need talent on defense"

That's such BS it's not even funny.

We've gotten our share of coverage sacks. If your intent is to improve the pass rush through the secondary then that tells me all I need to know about your opinion.

It's a proven fact that you make your DBs look a lot better than they are by getting consistent pass rush. Yes you can get coverage sacks by having your dbs cover great...but it's a lot easier doing it with a pass rush.

If you can rush a passer your defense will look so much better. Hell just look at the game tonight. Pats can't get to Brees at all and he's picking them apart. New Orleans is getting at Brady and their off the street corners are looking like pro bowlers.
