I just want my beloved niners to be back on top where they belong!
I especially like the Jason Fox pick in the 2nd round.

If dez is on the board and we trade i will become a lions fan because atleast they have the balls to take a wr if we had crabtree and him over BRANDON AND MORGAN AND HILL!!!

Certainly Detroit like drafting wide receivers. Not sure what they have proved by doing so.

Nice mock. But Bill Belichick likes to trade down, as everyone has stated.
Damn, NE has multiple picks in the 2nd round again? Last yr I believe they had 4 2nd round picks after trading down from the 1st.
ezekiel40, would you rather have our draft, 2 1st and 1 2nd? Or NEs draft of 1 1st and 3 2nd?

If we got Marinelli in the 7th round I'd be stoked.

4. A. Marcus Easley, WR Connecticut
- He is 6'2 216 pounds and runs a sub 4.5 40. + OTC likes him and that is good enough for me this late in the draft. I really wanted Gilyard but Easley is a nice consolation, and we need more weapons to make our offense even more explosive. Add Easley and Spiller to this offense with Davis and Crabtree and this offense could become scary (pending Alex Smith's continued improvement). Will fill out our WR corp with Crabtree, Morgan, Jones, Hill, and Easley.
He is one of my best friends in real life, and its great to see his stock rise. He actually made it academically with a scholarship at Uconn (made the team as a walk on) The coach never gave him any playing time until finally this year they did, and look what he has done. He had like 6 straight games with 100 yards and a score when he got the chance. Also, I'm 6 ft 3, and he is an inch taller then me, trust me, he isn't 6'2. This kid can be a major steal for anybody that grabs him, he is just a ball player.

Patriots probably wouldn't do this -- so it may be unrealistic, but the draft is plausible, and that's what is important.
thanks OTC! i am a new poster but i've read the zone for a couple years and really enjoy your draft analysis.
Would the Pats consider this to trade up for Dez Bryant OTC? i posted my reasoning behind the trade above. What do you think?
I think it could be plausible, but like another poster said I can't see them moving up for a WR. If they did move Up I think it would be for somebody like a big interior defensive player or a big time CB. Haden or Mount Cody maybe? Not sure but nice draft picks overall.

I'd rather have our draft, with 2 firsts and 1 second.

Any mock that doesn't include Bradford, Claussen or a trade for Kolb is a failed mock.
