both looked good in their bowl games yesterday
Carter reminds me of Kevin Gogan in terms of his mammoth size and his temperment
his pass blocking expereince would help niners
Jerry reminds me a bit of Larry Allen in terms of his size....he looked good on drive blocks off line

Carter reminds me of Lattimer from the The Program. I can just see Staley giving him s**t about it.

He is a 4th/5th rd project Gaurd. The boy has the size strength and nastiness you look for in a dominate G. He needs some coaching and pollishing though. Intresting prospect.

Every Oline could use a guy like that, as long as he can play.

Brandon Carter was the only guard this year to win the matchup with Suh.

Yup, he's a clown, but he plays nasty and beat everyone he faced this year.

I am not impressed with Carter. He is another mauler like Baas, and, like Baas, he doesn't have the quickness, or the technique to be anything more than what Baas is now.
I am sick and tired of watching quick, agile guards on other teams pull out and lead sweeps and screens while Baas just chugs along like he is running in knee-deep mud. Rachal is a bit better but not much. The 49ers need quickness at guard, not another bulldozer.

Larry Allen, he wasnt quick or agile but he is probably the best gaurd to ever play. We have Chilo for the pulling agile type!

As I said above, Rachal is quicker than Baas but he still isn't as quick as the 49ers need if they bring in a speedy RB.
Still, I was not at all impressed with Carter against MSU.

Oh when I say Carter is good, yeah he is ... but he's not as good as Tech OG Vasquez from last season who is now a rookie starter for the Bolts.
