2001/ Kevan Barlow RB
2002/ Saleem Rasheed ILB
2003/ Andrew Williams DE
2004/ Derrick Hamilton WR
2006/ Brandon Williams WR
2008/ Reggie Smith CB/S

If the Niners are going to make 3rd round picks like this just trade the pick....

Hopefully this trend doesnt continue!

I realize Barlow had one good year but the Niners gave him an extension and he did nothing after that.

I wouldnt say r smith was a bad pick he was looking great in preseason and he is still young

Yeah, but the rest were bad. We can't keep whiffing on 3rd rd draft picks. These guys are supposed to be starters.

Surely Frank Gore makes up for the failures?

Nothing can make up for that Brandon Williams pick especially since Brandon Marshall was setting right there. Was 07 the year they lost a pick for the tamepring?

It remains to be seen if Glen Coffee works out too....So far not so good with him.

I thought he was a 3rd round pick, too.

Seems like any list detailing our bad 3rd round selections would be incomplete without Snyder.
