Queretano's 1.0 Mock Draft

After the BCS Bowls being held this would be my picks

1a (13) B. Bulaga OT Iowa
The biggest need is RT period.

1b (17) S. Kindle DE/OLB Tex
We need an upgrade over Haralson or at least will rotate with Brooks as Pass Rusher, IMO Kindle is a 4-3 SLB, better blitzer than Curry was a year ago, but last year in Texas he played an hybrid DE/OLB and worked just fine also has a nose for the ball maybe in our system he could play OLB, He's fast and quick.

2 N. Allen FS South Florida
IMO D. Goldson is better suited to play SS and should replace M. Lewis at that spot, R. Smith must show something to step in this offseason, whatever, we don't have a FS so must get one in FA should be a priority unless someone from the team takes the spot R. Smith or W. Harris; anyway N. Allen is going to be a starter in the NFL he have range ball skills and high football IQ so he could be the answer to this ancient quest for us since the M. Hanks days.

3 C. Black OT/OG LSU
Addresing the line is a priority and Black could excell at OG even at RT he's big and have a lot of experience against top competition.

4Akwasi Owusu-Ansah Indiana (PA) CB
Big Fish, have good triangle numbers also is a returner and facing Zona twice a year we need big corners to cover

5 L. Houston DT Texas
A disruptive DT who could play rusher DT in our pass D packages also could backup at DE

6 A.J. Wallace CB Penn St
Off field incidents are a concern but is fast and big

7 Deji Karim RB/KR Southen Illinois
We need a KR badly also this kid has all the tools if he can stay focus could work

I like the overall draft. I don't like Kindle at our second 1st round pick. I would probably go with Graham if I was going to pick a OLB at that point. I like some of the CB picks as well.
yea, dunno bout kindle. Apparently he's pretty raw.

as an aside, he's listed at 6'4" but he looks like a DB.
Overall I like this draft. Bulaga is going to be a stud and depending on how senior bowl/combine go we may need to take him at #13. Not sure about kindle yet. I also don't think Crion Black will last until our pick in the 3rd. That would be a STEAL. Finally I'd like for us to bring in a more proven KR/PR guy. Arenas or Shipley would fit that bill.

Thanks for the read!

I'm just not sold on Bulaga's run blocking at RT. I prefer Anthony Davis or Bruce Campbell over him.
Not sold on Kindle as a first rounder. 2nd rounder to me.

Plus, Houston is way too good to go in round 5. He's moving up the boards, looks like a 3rd rounder.

Why would you move Bulaga to RT? Leave him at LG where he's used to playing.

I agree. I'm not a fan of Kindle and I think Brandon Graham is a beast. He's the best OLB that no one talks about. He's reminds me of Woodley.
I'm not sold in Kindle either looks very similar to Lawson to me, but at middle round 1 is not that much of a reach, Graham could be a choice indeed.

Houston IMO could fall because of the lack of size and to be a 3 down player should need the right scheme (Tampa 3)
I hope to get a better look of Graham at the senior bowl and hopefully Kindle also

I think Graham is really going to increase his draft position at the Senior Bowl. I expect him to excel in the pass rushing drills. I don't think he'll have trouble beating most of the Senior OTs.
