Dallas Had 2 first rounders and drafted Felix Jones who closley resembles CJ Spiller with their home run ability. In the following rounds, Dallas drafted 2 cornerbacks (Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick) and a nice big recieving TE. I think We should draft Spiller as well as 2 corners and mabye even a saftey, not to mention a recieving threat, thought I would perfer a burner than a big guy.
I also think we should trade down with GB to give us a later 1st and another 2nd rounder (#17 and 4th round for #23 and #56)
How About
1) CJ Spiller (home run threat, even more weapons on offense. Also a KR/PR)
1) Donovan Warner (2nd best cornerback, greatly improves our terrible Pass D)
2) Jason Fox (Improves our O-line and good value here)
2) Reshad Jones (Micheal Lewis is done, we put a talented SS across from dashon)
3) John Jerry (Massive OG with 2nd round potential, yet fell. Add O-line depth)
5) LeRoy Van (Grealty improves our anemic KR/PR. has 11 TD on special teams!)
6) Devin Ross (Adds CB depth and has nice size and speed.)
7) Emanuel Sanders (Straight up burner at WR. Good player with character issues)
This gives us alot of play makers on offense, defence and special teams.

Sanders is more of a 4-6th rounder IMO.

He very well could be, but he also was susppended for the last 2 games. I like the guy, 6-1 with very low 4.4 speed.

You sure you're not thinking of another player?

I think we have more needs than Dallas in 08. We need a RT, G (I would prefer us to pick up these in FA, but I doubt that happens), CB, S, pass rusher,PR and maybe a speedy slot reciever (we can probably pick up one that returns punts)
While a home run threat would be great, I would really like a top pass rusher, the emergence of Brooks has made a few people forget that we don't have a consistent 10+ sack machine. I know we didn't rank that badly in overall sacks, but I do think at times we really struggled with pressure. Consistent pass rush will improve our whole secondary. Right now if you offered me a DeSean Jackson or a Ware (type of player) I would choose the pass rusher.

The only thing that we had in common with the 2008 Cowboys is the two first round draft picks. Other than that, we are not close in talent. They had less glaring needs than we do and they had the opportunity of getting 'luxury' picks in Felix Jones and Jenkins.
We have different needs than the Cowboys. Comparing them to their team and then saying we should be like them and draft a home run RB and a good DB when we have BIG HUGE GIGANTIC HOLES in the oline is just downright ignorant of our needs.

How did you expect to fix the OL free agancy ?
I like your first few pick however you cant
count on Trading down with no CBA I don't think teams will be
parting with there picks as easily.
I would love to see the 49ers Draft
round / pick
1st / 13th HB, CJ Spiller
1st / 17th OT, Trent Williams
2nd / 48th DE, Jerry Hughes
3rd / 80th CB, Perrish Cox
4th / OG, Mitch Petrus
5th / WR, Emmanual Sanders
6th / ILB, Daryl Sharpton Or BPA at ILB as Daryl might go in the 5th
7th / FS, Jordan Lake
7 comp pick SS,Anderson Russel
Of course I reached on one and I'm hoping a couple fall in the Draft
It's hard to know when there will be a run on a given positions
and it happens every year.

This would be great, but you sure are hoping a couple fall. Like in rounds 2, 3, and 4. These guys are all going to go higher than where you have them. Looks like some pretty wishful thinking to me.

Dallas already had their OL intact with Ware and Spencer as their OLBs.

If we get logan and find someone dumb enough to drop off a talent rt then sure go for it. but like he said dallas went after Big Davis and gave romo an oline before the draft.
