1 StL N. Suh, DT—Best prospect in years! Just too good to pass up.
2 Det G. McCoy, DT—Tuff one here. It will be he or Berry.
3 TB E. Berry, S—Frickin’ lucky as other needs prevailed over BPA.
4 Was J. Clausen, QB—They can get a franchise QB or OT if Campbell stays
5 KC R. Okung, OT—They also need an LT move Albert to RT or OG.
6 Sea S. Bradford, QB—They count there lucky stars.
7 Cle J. Haden, CB—Perfect for their horrible pass D.
8 Oak D. Morgan, DE—Time for an upgrade at pass rusher.
9 Buf A. Davis, OT—Need a franchise LT
10 Den T. McClain, ILB—Perfect fit for Nolan’s 3-4, his new P-Willy
10 Jax J. Pierre-Paul, DE—Either a DT or Pass rusher. They go with the latter.
12 Mia D. Williams, DT—Need some beef on that DL.
13 SF T. Williams, OT—Best ROT of the OTs—Have to take as Seattle next.
14 Sea CJ Spiller, RB—It was he at BPA.
15 NYG E. Thomas, S—Shore up their secondary.
16F Ten B. Price, DT—They need fattie in the middle so bad after Haynesworth.
16F SF M. Iupati, OT/OG—He climbs up boards and we take two OLs in the first
18 Pit B. Campbell, OT—They love their beef up front!
19 Atl C. Dunlop, DE—Rises back to top after combine and they need a LDE
20 Hou T. Mays, S—Need a safety
21 Cin D. Bryant, WR—They land that WR that can replace TJ to pair with Ocho.
22 NE J. Hughes, OLB/DE—Time to replace TBC.
23 GB B. Bulaga, OT—They need an upgrade at OT.
24 Phi B. Graham, DE—They need a pass rusher
Round 2 M. Gilyard, RS/WR—One of the best RS in the country! Depth at WR.
Round 3 R. Jones, SS—Drops because of the depth in the second
Round 4 A. Owusu-Ansah, RS/CB—Depth at CB and RS!
Round 5 B. Carter, OG—Someone to mold and provide great depth
Round 6 B. Sharpe, DE/OLB—Depth after Parys, Manny, Ahmad and Biggs
Round 7 R. Jackson, FB—More competition for the one FB position.
A couple of things. First, I want Iupati no matter what in the first like many here. I see us taking the BPAOT at #13 and just reach a bit (in most other draftnik's eyes) for Iupati. These two would solidify and upgrade our OL for the next ten years!
In the second, I believe we will get our RS. It also happens to be a WR. I thought about Arenas, but I believe he will go just before we pick.
In the third, I believe we get our next SS whether it is Jones or someone else. This is a very deep class for Safeties with second round grades...he's one, though, that OTC has him as a first rounder. If not he, then it will be another solid SS.
I took a CB in the fourth because I believe we are going to keep Clements and Harris with Bly getting more mula somewhere else. This guy is also a RS and has some speed at 6'1"--a cheaper P. Cox.
I think OGs will drop a bit and some more than others like the last three years. It always seems as though OGs graded high fall hard. Brandon is just a victim of a great draft class. I say he drops to the fifth.
The last two were about depth at pass rusher and competition at FB.
Hope you like.

As much as I would love an upgrade in the skill positions, upgrading the OL is probably the biggest need. I still feel 16/17 Iupati is not a good value pick. Would love a trade down from 13 to 20s and take him there. It depends on how many OT are on the board at 13.

This draft is similar to OTCs draft. It looks good overall to me, except for the 7th pick. I think if we are going to take someone to develop I would rather get another shot at another OLB or a RB that has speed and can be a change of pace back.

I'd like to get a BIG tightend who the team can put on the practice squad and convert to tackle.

13 SF T. Williams, OT—Best ROT of the OTs—Have to take as Seattle next.
14 Sea CJ Spiller, RB—It was he at BPA.

Personally I would rather take Spiller and still land Iupati at 17. Williams will struggle at LT which is what they need. In that comparison, Spiller is the more dangerous threat. If Iupati can convert to RT then we can take an OG in the 3rd-4th.

I don't think it's bad value at all considering that he may have the best feet of all the o-linemen in the draft. Plus, if he has the ability to move over and play some tackle, his value goes way up.

I really don't like T. Williams at all. He reminds me too much of Cherilius. If you struggle with rushers at LT in college, then you will struggle with rushers at RT in the pros. I would much prefer Campbell or even Bulaga.

I don't understand this logic.
If the guy you want is on the board, you take him. Why risk losing him just to move down a few spots and pick up an extra 5th round pick?

Any pick that fixes the Oline is good by me. I agree that if the guy you want is there, you take him, so sense messing around and risking losing out. As far as Williams, he is going to be a steal. The reason he didn't play as well this year is because the rest of the line was so bad he was constantly shuffled around, even playing C at the end of the year. Put him in one spot and leave him and he'll be fine.

Very similar as I think we both have four of the same picks in Williams, Iupati, Jones and Carter. After all, we all wannabe like OTC...lol! Seriously OTC, I didn't mean to pillage your mock.
I personally have always wanted Williams. Then it was Spiller with the second pick, but I think he will be gone by that time. I then started to hear about Iupati and the Man-crush started like mad like Maclin last year. I had Carter in my mock before I posted the one with Iupati because we needed Guards depth, but I think just like OTC in that Iupati and Carter are the OG types we crave especially if the Rams draft Suh. Getting the next Larry Allen is worth that #16/17 pick!
Thank God for underclassmen..DECLARING!

Pick up an extra 2nd. Hell be there at 20ish.

Good job, Tico. I'm not sure the likelihood of some of those players falling in the 3rd and beyond, but it's about 50-50 right now with no combines, etc. to look at yet.
You get my stamp of approval for this one. Seems pretty feasible.
If I think as far as the pick in the 3rd, there should be some safety with a heck of a value there. I don't think Jones will last that long personally, but there will be someone who does.

Wrong. The best you can get based on the draft value chart is a high 3rd. But I get your point: if you're going to get the player you want and get an extra pick, why not?

Looking back at the 2008 Draft, did you think Chris Johnson would be OFF the board at 24? People were pegging him as early 2nd round at the earliest.
Point: The draft is unpredictable. If the player you want is there, you don't risk it and trade down to get extra picks (see Rashaun Woods fail).
