Not sure where you got him being a lock from. Last year a lot of the "experts" said Gabbert but very few fans were on his bandwagon. It was Peterson, Quinn, Amukamara mainly. Most liked Peterson, Dareus, AJ Green but felt they would be gone. I would agree that Baalke is much harder to lock in on than McCloughan.

Kendall Wright has the best tape of any WR in this draft class. He comes with some concerns, but game tape > workouts.

I don't want the Niners to pick Wright but I won't go in to a rage if he is the pick. I can't say the same about Stephen Hill. If the Niners pick him I may have to replace my TV after I toss it out the window.

I agree %100. He's #1 on my shortlist of guys I'm praying we dont draft in the 1st round:

Short
Short arms
Slow
Fat and doesnt have to work ethic to get body fat below %16
Played mostly against 'non-blue chip' competition
Weak - could only do 4 bench presses
Can't runblock

Gametape against weak'ish competition and trailed his own teammates in all the YPA on his team.

Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor BearsWright has a lot of positives, but he also may have as many red flags as any potential first-round draft pick.For starters, he had a poor 40-yard dash time at the combine (although to be fair, he did show improvement in that category at Baylor's pro day). Further, it was recently reported that Wright weighed in with a 16 percent body fat count and did four bench press reps at that pro day. That bench press total would have placed last in that category at the combine. His size is also an issue, as he was the shortest player in my recent article reviewing the top 10 wide receiver draft prospects and the second-oldest and fourth-lightest wideout of that group. Add in Robert Griffin III's metrics on vertical passes, which were actually better when throwing to players other than Wright, to the depth of talent in this year's wide receiver draft class, and it means teams might do well to wait until the second round or later to select Wright.
