We need a big WR.

His stats werent amazing tonight but he made no mistakes and played well...dude you've got to be kidding me if you think he's unimpressive.

His deep ball accuracy was unimpressive, missing Kendall Wright or failing to hit him in stride. I had heard so much about his amazing deep ball accuracy and didn't see it. His running ability is questionable, he didn't look like a good runner, although yes, he is unbelievably fast. Obviously I haven't seen much, but in this game he was far from the best player on the field while running the Tim Tebow offense against a terrible defense..

On Kendall Wright, since this is a KW thread, I don't have a problem drafting him regardless of his size. It's all about getting good/productive/explosive players, and if KW can do it, then why wouldn't you draft it. I laugh at all these people who somehow don't want a Steve Smith v2, as if Smith wouldn't instantly be the best WR on this team since TO. Only problem is, KW doesn't seem as explosive a runner, as physical, nor as aggressive going for the ball in the air, as Steve Smith.

I don't think we need a big receiver. Pittsburgh's passing attack is just fine and they draft smaller receivers every time.

I'd take the next Mike Wallace or Antonio Brown any day of the week. Don't obsess over size, because the success ratio of drafting receivers is hard enough as is you don't want to be narrow minded going into the process.

Dwight Clark if we are talking past niners. Need sure hands in tight spaces over a guy with drops and amazing yac.

lol i was just about to make a thread about him because I couldnt find one.

Scott Wright's mock draft has us picking him

Baylor WR Kendall Wright has always been highly thought of within the scouting community, entering the season with an early round grade, but a breakout senior campaign has put the explosive pass catcher in the late first round mix. A smooth athlete with blazing speed, Wright is exactly the type of dynamic vertical threat that San Francisco's offense so desperately needs

May need to trade up. Would likely need to trade a 3rd to get him.

I'm sticking with Wright as a hopeful first round pick. We need a playmaker badly and after watching a shifty receiver in Cruz tear us apart, it made me even more of a believer. A big rezone target is useless if we can't move the chains between the twenties. We can always draft a bigger body in the later rounds.

wright will be gone before our pick

yeah, most likely. i would trade up if that becomes the case
heard he will not participate in the senior bowl due to an injury, should be good to go by the combine though
I could see the Browns taking RG3 and Wright with their first round picks.
