Aldon Smith was the big star scouts watched (when healthy) for the Tigers last season, but Jacquies, though not related by blood, looks like could be the San Francisco 49ers' newest rush linebacker's brother. In fact, Aldon often refers to Jacquies as his "big brother" because he played in 2008 while the seventh pick in the 2011 draft redshirted.

Though Jacquies will likely not be selected as high as Aldon (he was not happy with the projection the NFL Advisory Committee gave him after the season) because he is not as explosive rushing the passer, scouts see they have similar builds and were asked to do similar things in Missouri's defense. Jacquies even stood up on occasion, leading 3-4 teams to project him to linebacker at the next level.

New England Patriots select Philip Blake, C, Baylor

The New York Giants select................... CB RYAN STEED FURMAN

With the prospect of possibly losing a CB or 2 to free agency the Giants add depth to their secondary

Colts would like OL here, but the value isn't there. Instead, with Clark old and unlikely to return, they select Michael Egnew, TE, Missouri to replace him.
