The New England Patriots select Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina.

Ideally, the Patriots would like to trade back and recover more picks (the Pats only have 5 this year), but in the interest of expediency they stand pat and take a big, quick penetrating DT with upside to pair with Wilfork in the middle.
