big boards really don't mean anything if a team really likes a player.

Sure they matter...I don't think he is a 1st round talent either.

probably not a 1st rounder, but a 2nd, i think so

Yeah that's fair I have no reason to believe that he wouldn't be there with our 45th pick in the 2nd, I prefer McKinney in the 2nd though.

McKinney definitely has the size that teams will want, but I love Perryman's instincts. He's on the smaller side, but is strong enough to shed tackles and fast enough to go sideline to sideline.
All of a sudden, Perryman has become a player that we desperately need to draft.
Perryman is cleary the guy we need to now focus, some how trade up to get him if needed.

Man i want this guy on our Team!!!!
I cant see us getting him without trading up some how. i'm looking at the 14 other teams on the board before us in the first round.

and quite a few of them could use a guy like Perryman.

i guess don't get our hopes up, but this is who i want in the first round!

Wait your talking about drafting this kid at 15

He is projected as a late 2nd early 3rd round pick on CBS sports big board....He is 5-11 and weighs under 240 LBs! I don't think he is a 3 down LB.

Baalke doesn't draft/reach for need and there are plenty of LBs including Perryman that will be around after the 1st. I will flip S*&T if we draft ILB at 15 smh

Perryman isn't considered a 1st round talent, though. He isn't even the #1 ILB in most draft boards. He'll be a 2nd/3rd pick

Thank you
...and best of all, the guy played MLB under 4-3, not 3-4...
NO THANKS no more short LB's i am scared they will end up quitting on the team.

Technically, Bowman played OLB in a 4-3, but yeah, I get your point.

I like Perryman'S instincts, but I like Anthony and McKinney's size more

this guy brings the the one pivotal attribute we lost when P-willy retired: leadership.

Perryman was the leader of that defense at the U, and he is a high-character guy on and off the field. He commanded the defense, and lead by setting the tone. They don't come more physical than this guy. DP plays with reckless abandon the entire game while remaining durable. He leaves it all on the field every single game. Size and measurables are great, but i'll take instincts, football IQ, and leadership over that fluff any day. A lot of guys in the NFL have impressive measurables until they see Marshawn Lynch coming at them, and then they turned into midgets. I guarantee you Denzel Perryman will not shy away at the point of attack.

If we want to return to that intimidating, menacing defense, the first step in the draft is drafting Denzel Perryman. We need this man in red and gold.

That Clemson dude Anthony is the better prospect but thats just my opinion. This dude perryman is alo a nice prospect and I wouldnt mind him either as a 49er but not before the 3rd round. Heck he might be there in the 3rd or 4th round too bad Balke sent that 4th rounder to Buffalo for Stevie One Year Wonder.

Unless they have chronic shoulder issues I wouldn't worry about size.
