Very likely that Cooper & White off the board by #15 and probably Parker gone to the Vikings as well. Baalke could probably trade down with Carolina at #25, pick up an extra 2nd RD pick #57 and Smith will be there. Ravens, Seahawks and Patriots draft soon after and are possible landing spots for Devin Smith.

Maybe Not KC needs a WR and they pick @16 right after our pick, sooooo he could be gone, and you know what Baalke has a Sour taste in his mouth because He couldnt get Odell Beckham Jr.... I think if He likes a WR that He has a chance to get he will pull the trigger early based on what happpen last year.

This is what I want. Go DL (Goldman) round 1, Smith in round 2 and then another RB (Duke) with that extra 2nd

What I meant is that Devin Smith should be there at #25 in the 1st RD, but not sure that he makes it to #46 pick in RD 2.
Also a chance that Bengals could take him at #21 before he even gets to Ravens, Seahawks and Patriots at the end of the 1st.

Bummer. I was really hope Smith would make it to round 2. Not sure how I feel about him in round 1 though

I think with Rashad Green and Phillip Dorsett as options there is no need to reach for Smith.

He's fooled everyone in our pre-combine mock so far. We're at 36 and the best receiver in the draft is still on the board

Some mocks have KC taking DGB and FYI, Chiefs pick is #18.

I take it back: Devin isn't "better" than White right now, but I think he has more potential. White is a bigger body, but he can't do some of the things Devin around the field. He's Desean Jackson with size. Scary. White looks at least as good as Kelvin Benjamin right now IMO.

Devin's better than Cooper though. Cooper is going to disappoint people. Rich man's Michael Crabtree.

OSU WR Devin Smith is "just unreliable on non-vertical patterns," according to CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.

"Spending a lot of time on WR Devin Smith today. I understand the appeal, but just unreliable on non-vertical patterns. High ceiling role WR," Brugler tweeted. The big-play wideout recorded 12 touchdowns on 33 receptions in 2014, while leading the leading the NCAA with a score every 2.75 catches. While some may question other parts of Smith's game, his deep-threat ability may make up for those weaknesses. Brugler noted in another tweet that if you "need a deep threat he fits," but if you're looking for more from Smith, he "won't fit if you want more."

Mike Wallace all over again.

I'd take Mike Wallace and I agree that would be a good comparison.

Yeah I like White the most in this class....He's is gonna be a stud. I like Parker as a red-zone threat, but I just don't see the speed like he had before the injury. Cooper is gonna be good and is way better than Crabs, overall most complete wide receiver in this class.

I like Devin for us because he will be there and fills a big need....speed. Phoenix called it with comparing him to Wallace. I do think he is more physical than him though.

I think it will be interesting to see if a team ahead of us grabs a WR in FA and I don't think Smith will be around in the 2nd.

I don't see any upside with Green over our current WR group. He doesn't really offer anything that Patton couldn't do. I had Dorsett in my 1st mock (3rd rd) but man he is small. I see him getting pushed around in the NFC West, I'd rather have Lockette ( great route running) if we were going that route or Perriman if we wanted to wait a couple rds.

Thought you were better than this. Why not just be a civil adult about different draft opinions?

Internets=serious business?

Its this time of year, every year that people are fawning over Youtube highlights moments, having Eureka moments, just poking some fun at him, calm down bro.
As a student at Ohio State I can speak on behalf of his talent and hope we draft. But idk about in the 1st rd. He's a 2nd rd talent at best. I fear he's a one dimensional player. But we are in need of a deep threat which he will provide. If we can draft him and hold on to Lloyd we're set.

WR1: Boldin
WR2: Johnson
WR3: Smith
WR4: Lloyd
WR5: Patton
WR6: Ellington
