Listening to ESPN radio tonight and they were talking about what the Titans will do #1 overall. Initially mentioned taking Tunsil to help protect Mariota. Mel Kiper mentioned if they are looking OL, they could trade down and grab someone like Ronnie Stanley. Someone who could be there at #7. Then he mentioned he could see a team like the 49ers working a deal with the Titans to move ahead of the Browns and grab Carson Wentz.

Interesting. I'm becoming a fan of Wentz after reading up more and more on him. Pipe dream? Perhaps. Just thought it was interesting.

That would depend on what it costs, plus whether our FO values Wentz that much more than Goff, who could very easily be there at 7.

It would cost an arm and a leg according to the draft value chart. 1st, 2nd, 3rd plus next year's 1st I'd imagine. Certainly not worth it for either QB

Just can't see Baalke making this move. It's well for the lack of a better term, so "unBaalke like." We'll end up with a great player this year so we need to sit back and see what falls our way. The wildcard is Dallas. But if Cleveland and Dallas both take QBs, then somebody else like Tunsil, Bosa, Stanley or Buckner fall to us.

How is the world is tunsil or bosa falling to us?? Buckner I can see there same with Stanley who IMO isn't worth the 7th pick with such a deep OL class.

I don't see Baalke trading up either and I would prefer that Cleveland and Dallas both take a QB (or someone jumps up and takes one) because I am not blown away by either prospect. Neither of them are a can't miss type of prospect, especially when there will be some defensive studs available at 7. I'm a huge Kap fan but I was impressed with Gabbert's ability to work the pocket, get rid of the ball quickly and accurately and still show the ability to take off if need be. My only flaw of Gabbert was his quickness to check down on 3rd and long before even letting the plays develop at times. However, I think (surprised I'm saying this after what I thought about him two years ago) he will be able to run Chip's offense well enough and we will have no issues scoring over 20 a game.

I think in an open competition, Gabbert is capable of beating Kap out right for the starting job because of those things I mentioned above. Will we be a top offense, probably not in 2016 but we will be better than anything we have had in a long time and we need the defense to be loaded to have the best chance of closing those games. This is the year to load up on that defense as I don't believe neither Goff or Wentz can do anything spectacular that Gabbert can't already do. They may have more confidence at the moment because they haven't been thrown to the wolves yet lol but outside of that, I'm fine with rolling with Kap or Gabbert and rebuilding our trenches and front 7 this year.

I can't see Tunsil falling to us. Bosa on the other hand will fall if Dallas takes a QB. That means Jax will more than likely take either Jack or Ramsey since they just drafted Fowler last year and Baltimore will probably take Ramsey if Jacksonville doesn't, or Buckner or Stanley (whoever the Chargers didn't grab).

If Bosa does fall, I'd trade slightly back with a 4-3 team and scoop up an additional 2nd. If we were a 4-3 team, I'd be all for snagging him but we aren't and I think both Spence and Ogbah will be better 3-4 OLBs. Both looked better in LB drills and both have elite ability at getting to the QB.

Can't see Baalke making a move that would hang himself out to dry. Chip has worked with QB's in Philadelphia that were far from elite. Wentz seems to be the pick of the QB class and the Niners would have to trade way up to land him. If Golff drops to the Niners at 7 that will mean no team wanted to trade that far up to get him. The Niners are in a good position to let the draft come to them.

Bosa isn't making it past Baltimore...Suggs isn't getting younger and they've already stated they need pass rush.

Who the heck would the Titans take?? They need a LT and I don't see a team moving up to one cost wayyyy top much and this Qbs arent elite

They play a 3-4 as well and need Oline, Dline and Cornerback help. They will probably sign Osemele to be the LT but bookending that line with Stanley makes sense too. If Buckner is still there, he fits their system more than Bosa would so I can see him being the pick

Baltimore also needs a safety and a LT badly. Ramsey or Stanley would be the picks if they are available. Also, don't they play a 3-4 defense? Would he not be out of place in a 3-4 compared to his natural fit as a 4-3 end?

Word is they might not be able to resign osemele...I can see bosa as a 3-4 OLB but I assume the Chargers go for bosa anyway, Stanley would make sense in Baltimore.
