That is what the talk is. I think it was a two man race from the get go and there is no change after the Combine. Just comes down to who CLE prefers I suppose

MMQB's Peter King's informal poll of "quarterback-needy teams" at the Combine showed North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz "leading in the race for first QB off the board."

I think they both looked great throwing but Wentz separates himself from Goff by being bigger and more athletic.

My preference is for Goff, I think he is far more polished. Wentz has good upside but he'd really have to bust his ass for about a year or two to improve his footwork in particular.

Really wouldnt mind either. It just feels like some other positions have better overall talent.

All the talk in Indianapolis was about who the Cleveland Browns would draft at No. 2—not who the Tennessee Titans would select No. 1 overall. I polled everyone I know connected to the Browns—coaches, scouts, even a player or two—and they all believe the Browns will draft Carson Wentz to be Hue Jackson's quarterback of the future.

This, if Buckner and Jack are gone.

Very possible scenario, but firmly believe Browns take Wentz at #2. Even with that, Jack could go to Jags at #5 and Buckner goes to Ravens at #6.
If that happens, Baalke is looking at Goff or Stanley at #7 or a trade down with Rams to #15, where Rams take Goff and Niners take Emmanuel Ogbah at #15 and get an extra 2nd RD pick as well as a 4th.
