He made some beautiful throws. There will be growing pains, but he is an impressive looking QB.

No kidding, he looked like a veteran out there, reminded me of Matt Ryan.

agree. It wasn't perfect but I'm sure Cleveland is going to be wondering if it made a mistake trading out. It's sad when you think about it. The team whiffs on QBs like its going out of style and the one they pass on looks good.

What I loved about it is he was not afraid to make throws AND put some of them right on the money. For example, his first TD pass wouldn't have even been thrown by Kaepernick because the WR looked covered at the time the QB released.

They passed on Big Ben too.

So did 20 something other teams.
He looks like a really good QB already. I liked his mechanics and size and strength a lot coming out. Maybe he will be good. Who knows? It is still very early.
I love the Rams. Such a loser franchise. Kurt Warner saved them briefly, but then back to being losers.

Far as Wentz goes - he looks like an NFL QB. Couldn't get a good read on his arm talent. He wasn't throwing them very hard. Could have been by choice. He reads the field well and quickly though.

He should call up his tailor so they can get his measurements for his HOF jacket.
I know it's only one game, but the fact that Wentz is starting and Goff isn't even a primary backup has to make Rams fans question what in the ever-lovin' heck were they thinking.

To me at least, before the draft it was clear as day that not only was Wentz the better QB prospect, but his upside was also way bigger -- sky high -- in comparison to Goff.
I thought both Wentz and Goff would both be terrible. And definitely not worth trading up for. Wentz looked a lot better than i expected yesterday

Not to mention it's not as if Fisher and his staff has any real track record of developing qb's.

People say the Browns messed up. The bigger question is did the Rams mess up taking Goff over Wentz?

That may turn out to be the case. At which point it's equally on the Rams and Browns.
Wentz is a winner. Always been a winner, always will be a winner. He has a LOT of characteristics that you want in a franchise QB. Off to a great start. Starting to regret I graded him as only the fifth best prospect in this draft, but it is still early.
