That may turn out to be the case. At which point it's equally on the Rams and Browns.
i dont think the browns messed up
they dont have the infastructire to draft a franchise qb and they know it

He just beat Cleveland. Lets not go to crazy now.

He's going to have some tough days ahead, but he was a state basketball champion, on multiple national championship football teams, has been a straight A student since elementary school. Some guys are just successful in life. They get it. He is one of them.

He is already winning games and Goff is not even dressing for games.

the most impressive part of his performance against the Browns , is that Pederson didn't have to roll with a scaled down version of the playbook, or rely heavily on the run game to limit his exposure to the pass rush , he was accurate and looked confident , granted it was the browns , but Carson displayed a lot of composure and was able to hit 2 really nice looking TD passes , and next week he will face the Bears, and if he is able to improve on last week's performance , the Ram's will be kicking themselves big time, Goff could still turn out to be a top shelf QB, but right now it's looking good for the Eagles, and nobody is complaining about the draft picks they gave up to get him , so far so good for Wentz

Beating a horrible Browns team isn't anything to get excited about. Lets see how he does against some good teams first. I'm pulling for the kid but its still pretty premature to get excited.

Goff is also on the Rams and has Jeff Fisher as his HC. That's a recipe for mediocrity right there. Hopefully for Goff they fire Fisher and hire a guy who can actually develop him

I think it had more to do with playing a high-school team (the Browns) than being a winner.
I don' believe in
Wentz.
Mariota came blazing out of the blocks his first game too, and he hasn't even come close to proving to be a good QB yet.

We will see. That is the beauty of the evaluation process, the draft, and player development. I know my buddies in Philly are very excited about his potential, while my other friends, Browns fans, are mortified. We will all see how this plays out.

lol you're a hater. Anytime a rookie QB comes in and looks good against an NFL team, that's something really impressive.

I'm a hater even though I said I'm pulling for him? What?
I'm just not gonna say he's the next great QB. People are so bipolar when it comes to rookie/ unproven QBs that I'd rather wait and see if he can keep it up consistently then say he's the next best thing in Week 1 and then say he's a bust in Week 2 like someone will if he struggles. That s**t gets annoying as f**k so yeah I'm gonna wait a few games before I say one way or the other.
Its like the people who say Goff is a bust because he didn't dress last week. If he's not ready yet then he's not ready yet. Its not a bad thing at all especially after seeing how beat up Keenum got on Monday. There's no reason putting the #1 overall pick in a situation like that. You're just expecting him to be the next David Carr or Tim Couch when you do.

Correction they don't have the infrastructure to build a franchise QB. They certainly have the infrastructure to run up to the podium with a card and a QB's name on it. This assumes there is someone in the organization that can spell. Yes the Browns messed up. At least try to let a coach with a rep as a QB developer try to develop a QB. They'll screw it up again this year with Watson and Kizer on the board in all probability.

you dont think hue jackson can find a qb?
last year they kept trading down wanted to aquire picks so they can get a team around him because browns have the most anemic roster in nfl
