Not that i know of, but weed has ruined a few guys career. Ricky Williams and Josh whats his face up in Cleveland. And as mentioned above, so high that you fall from a balcony? 1st floor i believe, not 4th floor. Alarming...

Two players NFL scouts tell me I've overrated: Robert Nkemdiche ("closer to early 2nd than early 1st") and Jayron Kearse ("too big for Rd1")

I'm calling BS on ANY NFL scouts throughout the history of the universe giving legitimate opinions on anyone BEFORE the draft. Especially this one because Nkemdiche is a monster.

An NFL scout's entire job is to notice things other scouts might miss. Why the crap would they freely give that information away to a reporter?

Ole Miss junior DL Robert Nkemdiche's recent off-field decisions "could push his value to the mid or later stages of the first round," CBS Sports Dane Brugler believes.

"He is viewed as one of the top talents available, but his off-field decision-making and on-field fit have been questioned by some scouts," Brugler wrote. The Ole Miss prospect was recently injured after falling 15 feet from a hotel room and was later cited for marijuana. While Nkemdiche is a top-5 prospect, talent-wise, he'll have to prove to NFL teams during the interview process that he's ready to take the next step to being a professional.

Great player, but I'm not sure he would be needed on our team. We need QB, OL, Passrush first.

Beast. You want pass rush? It starts in the trenches and he would be a full load for 60 min. for olines. He looks unblockable one on one with his long arms and strength. He would be a difference maker in year one on the DL with Armstead's hopeful improvement in year two.

If he falls far enough, say 15-ish, who would be willing to trade up and get this guy if we have already landed Jared Goff?

The Niners' GM doesn't have the Ball-ke's to make a move like that.
Nkemdiche is the ultimate boom-or-bust player.

He's easily the most dominant defensive player in the draft. Easily. I've literally never seen one guy move him very much at all, and when he's doubled, he hardly moves either. He explodes into his guy off the snap with the kind of power I can't even remember seeing in college football. His upper-body strength is insane; O-linemen do absolutely nothing to him with their hands.

Basically, this guy could be the next Aldon Smith as a DL. The problem is that he could also be the next Aldon Smith upstairs. Falling out of a friggn' hotel makes me think of Sergio Kindle; something is not right with this dude's mind.

However, he's the perfect compliment to Ian & Arik. He'd play LDE, and Arik would play RDE because he's more of a pass rusher. And Dial provides good depth (Tank does too; he can play DE in pass-rushing situations). The D-line would probably be as good as it was with Ray & Justin. It's EXTREMELY tempting to take a chance on this monster.

The other thing is that I really, really like Deforest Buckner too. He & Arik would be the second pair of former teammates playing the same position on the defense (Ward & Tartt). And Buckner is a great player; I like him even more than A'Shawn Robinson, who's also a great 5-tech guy. Buckner is the safer pick, but Nkemdiche could be the next Bryant Young. What does a GM do?

Except that is one of the main questions about Nkemdiche and the main reason why he could fall outside the Top 10. How bad does he want it? His upside is greater than that of Bosa but Bosa is more of a sure thing, a guy that gives 100% on each and every play while Nkemdiche has been more inconsistent.

If I was an NFL GM and my job was on the line, that along with potential drug issues would be my main concern. For a guy who has the physical ability to flat out destroy offensive linemen, he has been known to kind of vanish for long periods of time.

I like Nkemdiche a lot but I give the edge to Bosa for that reason alone.

Sounds like the issues that surrounded Clowney (inconsistency).

It's well known in some of Ole Miss inner circles that him and his brother like to get down on coke and weed. Apparently last year a few of them were up till midnight of last year's bowl game snorting powder all night long. That was with former QB Bo Wallace. They get their ass kicked by TCU the next day.
This guy has some drug issues. It's not only the crowd he hangs with that's hurting him, it's his older brother too who also played football at Ole Miss before getting kicked off the team this year.

Apparently his brother was kicked off the team while he was in the hospital for over a week. I'm sure he done something real stupid to get kicked off the team while still in the hospital.

I heard a rumor on the radio that he f**ked himself up taking a synthetic drug

Multiple talking heads have cited the relationship with his brother as a major source of concern.
Wouldn't touch this dude with a ten foot pole. He and his family bring way more red flags with them than just doing a little weed from time to time. These aren't good dudes.
