I think we won't gamble on another potential problem child, fix the O line first and draft our future QB and an inside backer and DE

Good thing he didn't bet on baseball while he was smoking pot, he'd be sent a to Gulag for 60 years.

Yeah, I agree. We won't be the team that takes a chance on him.
We will have our pick of the litter in the top 10 this year. No need to take a risk on this kid when there are so many great options out there.

Dude is a stud and a top 5 pick if he drops to us I'd have no problem taking him.

this dumb move of Nkem may just be the one we need... team may pass on him and he may just land on us.

He's a great player, but what kind of idiot gets so high he falls out of a window on the 4th floor?

I don"t have a problem with it either, i just think after Aldon and Ray Mac, we will be very diligent concerning character...

Yep, and we of all teams cannot afford another bust or troublemaker pothead like a certain Cleveland receiver that is suspended and wasting all the talent in the world cuz of weed!! Smh....

The value is clearly there, but do you risk it? I wonder if he fell to the second if the Niners would trade up for him. They could conceivably have Goff/Smith/Tunsil in the first, Carl Nassib with the first 2nd round pick, then try to trade up and get Nkemdiche. Cover themselves if he falls far enough.
I doubt he falls that far. The talent is too legit to ignore for a small amount of weed and some admittedly bad judgment in the moment. Unless he has a track record of character issues that we dont know about or mental health flags like Gregory did I think he goes Top 20 no matter what.
It's not the weed that bothers me. It's that he thought it was better to jump out of a window. A freaking window. I'm thinking dude, you smoked a little weed, you made a poor decision. Just live with the consequences.
He was my number one guy earlier in the season. Should we miss out on Derek Wolfe or anyone else that we could use to upgrade our DL, does anyone see the 49ers trading back into the first to get this guy?

Free agency for the interior of the line. Draft a tackle later on.

More concerned about his concussion than off field problems. I know it's only one, but I hate to see those things stack up and end a career early.
