He could be a 4-3 edge rusher but in our scheme he would be a 3-4 DE.

So how would our line look?

Armstead------Williams-------Buckner

I like it but we really need an OLB

Would look like that but if we don't resign Williams than Dial or Dorsey would slide inside. I think that if Harold can put up some extra weight he could become a good OLB.

We have to re-sign Ian Williams. But a d-line of Buckner, Ian, Armstead with Dial and Purcell rotating could be dominant.

Agree. I really hope Niners sign an elite OLB in free agency!

There isn't a OLB worth drafting at 7...spencer or ogbah later in the first would be nice but not at 7.

Also I think going to FA for someone like Irvin or Vernon at OLB would be better IMO.

If Eli can gain some muscle and if we can get tank some real reps we might have a soild pass rush rotation.

He had 10 sacks and a lot of pressures last year as a 3-4 DE. As we seen with Aldon Smith, good 3-4 DE open things up for the LBs.
Him and Armstead

Throw in Damon Harrison at NT (6'4" 350lbs) and you have a scary large defensive line.
Kiper has Buckner going to DAL and SF taking Treadwell

Why don't we just resign Williams?

Buckner had such a great year I fully expect him to go top 10. The Cowboys would be a great fit for Buckner

I think Bosa could play OLB for us and he's a worthy a 7th overall pick. The only problem is that he is probably going earlier. I completely agree on Eli.

In the last year draft I heard some guys saying that AA could be a top 10 pick and Buckner is much better coming out of college than AA.
