Buckner had such a great year I fully expect him to go top 10. The Cowboys would be a great fit for Buckner

I just don't like the idea of taking a WR when we have so many other positions of need.

I agree we need offense our DL is solid
Bosa will be gone and so will Buckner. Treadwell may also be gone if Dallas decides it wants two Dez types for Romo. Then what? Probably trade back. Get an extra pick or two. Lots of holes to fill and increase chances of finding the diamond or two in the rough.

The thing to hate about Buckner is the NFL rule of non participation until graduation of your school date.

I do not believe it's a done deal that Buckner is gone. Considering the talent available and the needs of the teams ahead of us, there are many scenarios that could play out. Jaylon Smith being out of the mix as a top 5 pick really hurt us, but I'm seeing that Carson Wentz is getting some top 10 love. Who knows. I honestly prefer quarterback with our pick at 7. I just don't have the confidence in Kap to overcome his shortcomings. But DeForest Buckner would be a great pick. Regardless of whether or not he is there at 7, do you feel comfortable passing on a QB?

With guys like Bosa, Tunsil, Goff, Ramsey, Stanley, Hargreaves and Jack in the picture, he could very well there at 7.

Yes, because I don't feel there is a surefire talent there. Kelly made Foles look good. So I think he can make a 2nd rounder look good, since especially we have a high 2nd rounder.

I would be okay with the pick, but I just think it all depends on what the other teams board and needs are, not necessarily the talent level according to media mocks.

I think Buckner should be the pick.. I like Treadwell and I think it's more a 1a, 1b thing with Buckner as 1a. I would take Buckner if both of them were there, and I'd also consider Myles Jack if he is FULLY healthy or atleast above 90% in his health. We can't take risks with guys that are coming off bad injuries unless they're ready to play. I also like the cornerbacks a lot in this draft.

That is looking at what other teams needs are. I also dont see a 4-3 team taking Buckner. Basically Baltimore might be the team most likely to draft him before the 49ers pick and they need secondary help at every position.
I think Buckner is the clear pick if he's there
If we take him, Sus and Chaz will rag on him just like Armstead lolz

I don't think you can limit Buckner to a 3-4 because that is what he comes from, some teams may very well feel he is talented enough to fit in their 4-3. While I agree that say the ravens need secondary help, the question is do they feel there is a talent worth drafting at their position?

Agreed. Unless Dallas is going to a 3-4, I don't see them taking Buckner either. Baltimore would be nuts not draft one of these DB's. Buckner could very well be there at 7. Actually I think he will be there at 7.

Buckner might work in a 4-3 but nobody questions that his best fit is a 3-4, kind of the reverse of Bosa.

Hargreaves and Ramsey are top caliber DB's, if one of them falls to the Ravens, I think they'd have a hard time passing them up.

I dont mind a WR but Treadwell isnt worth a top 10 pick imo. When you draft a WR that early, you want a dynamic #1 talent. Treadwell isnt a Julio Jones or AJ Green kind of receiver. He doesnt have especially spectacular size either. I expect him to wind up at 6'1 or 6'2 and 210-218 pounds.

He will be a good possession receiver in the NFL and a good redzone target but I think you expect more from a Top 10 pick.
