Stop using phrases like "too soft". It doesn't mean anything. If you looked at his tape you couldn't point to any particular plays where he plays too soft. Your just using a subjective description so people can't argue the point with you. If you want to have an intelligent football discussion use objective phrases like "he struggles at the point of attack" or "he lacks the ability to gain leverage against stouter offensive lineman". Then you can point to his tape and prove your point.

I don't see a hole in his game. That is why I think he is the best player in this draft

With the fact that this guy checks all our boxes: tallest d-linemen, longest arms, position of need, amazing talent, and familiarity (Kelly, armsted, azzino, etc...) I see no way that he's not our pick If he's there. Fallen in love with this prospect... No homo. I pray that we address O line in FA cause if this guy has got to be our pick If he's there. Maybe Trent jumps up a few to grab him.

This. Buckner is a monster with speed, power and a relentless motor.

I'm hoping Buckner falls to us at 7. We probably only really need 1 guard in FA, that can come in and start for us. Staley has LT locked down, Kilgore should be fully healthy by now, so C is locked down, RT will be either Davis or Brown. So Guard is the only spot we need, if we bring Boone back, then we can roll with Boone and Tiller. If Boone leaves, then that is when we need to bring in someone outside the organization in FA to fill that hole. B. Thomas and Martin and others will be on the bench.

That's rather presumptive. Let's see what they can do with the new coaching staff, Thomas in particular.

Once again, if you have not seen his measurables:
DeForest Buckner: 6'7/291 lbs. 34 3/8" arms. 11 3/4" hands.
Insane.
