Tunsil, Wentz, Buckner, and Ramsey will definitely be gone before we pick. Goff will likely be gone as well. I'm guessing we will have a choice between whoever is left between Stanley and Jack ... And obviously the rest of the players.

theres no way bucker gets past the ravens though, even though they might need a o-lineman as well

Agree that Buckner gone before #7, believe Jack will be the Niners pick .

Idk I kind of think the Ravens would be interested in treadwell also.

The Ravens are trying to build a stout defense again so I can't see them bypassing Buckner if he's available there.

They have a lot of needs.
Ramsey, Buckner... maybe Hargreaves or Jack
Their secondary needs repair. If they can manage to terminate Jimmy Smith's deal, then it's a no-brainer. They could use an upgrade at FS also.
Buckner would look good opposite Carl Davis. They have Canty and Jernigan to rotate with.
ILB isn't a need, but their love their LBs.

They have Perriman coming back and Aiken played well. Givens is still there. They also drafted Darren Waller last year.
They need something here, but I would be surprised if they address it in the 1st. A vet to replace Steve Smith would probably be ideal. They already have a young group of guys.

Does Buckner project best as a 3/4 DE? I think he will likely be #1 on our board come draft day depending on how we value qb's I think our board will be
1. Buckner
2. Jack
3. Ramsey (not a need but to damn good)
4. Tunsil
5. Bosa (projects as a 4/3 DE so just not the best fit)
6. Stanley
Then insert wentz and Goff in there wherever. I have no idea the value we place on them. Looking forward to seeing MD's niner board come draft time.

I don't think Buckner will be there when the 49ers pick. I hope he is.

THIS is the exact reason I'm mad we won vs the Rams. behind the Ravens and Jaguars 2 teams also looking to upgrade on defense, they will take either Buckner Jack and Bosa
And I'll wait for someone to say neither of those 3 are guaranteed to be stars.. Just saying chances are better when you choose earlier

I think Buckner is number 1 on baalkes board. Him or Jack should be our main defensive targets while goff and Stanley are our top offensive guys.

At this point it's really hard to say who'll be on the board by the time Baalke picks...you can look at hundreds of mocks, both from us amateurs and the pros and often none of us have a clue about what's to come. I'd be stoked if Buckner's available...and I don't see how Baalke could resist taking him. I have no clue what Kelly thinks about Goff or any of the QB's coming out. If they go for best player, it could be an entirely different position than QB, and I'd be just fine with that. A DL of Armstead, (hopefully) Ian Williams and Buckner gets me excited. They could be really good for years to come. BL: this draft's unpredictable in part because the quality of defensive players is well ahead of the offensive guys, so it's impossible to say with any certainty what'll happen. Another X factor...new head coaches. We really don't know how Hue Jackson, Kelly and the other four new HC's (in top 10) will influence their drafts.

Ravens are the wild card. If they lose Osemele, and they might, they would be forced to look at Stanley rather than a defender.

Hopefully we force their hand by taking Osemele.
