DeForest Buckner DL - Oregon

Number one is Jack
Number two is Bunckner
Number three is Goff or Wentz.
NY85, i had thot it would be Buckner vs goff, but after watching buckner climb like crazy, not so sure now....there are # of folks putting him at #1. IF we got buckner, as MadDog said, quickly get the ticket up to the podium and smile. Now, Buckner vs Stanley....still probably take buckner, tho that is a change in my position. MadDog has made a case for taking goff/wentz if available and Phoenix likes Goff...both feel if QB is there you take him.

If that were Marriotta, luck, Jameis, Cam....that's one thing. But taking one of the top two QBs in this yrs draft....i would like buckner a lot better, and probably stanley too.

Tough call. Jack will most likely be gone so...

Bottom line is, if Chip/Trent/Tom think a franchise caliber QB is there, you take him. If not, then it's Buckner or Lawson for me at this moment.

If we can land Buckner, Goff, Wentz, or Jack at 7 I'll be super happy
No lie, any of those would be prime impact player starter, altho qb would not start this yr...a wise decision. That alone gives me pause about taking Goff, however, because if we do take him, he doesn't help chip's team this yr, and we all know the coaches need to look good every yr. He does have a 4....or is it a 5 yr contract...but still you can appreciate a HC wanting a player that starts immediately...and consensus is neither goff nor wentz start this yr. See the conundrum for chip? Interesting, huh?

MadDog wanted chase daniels this yr to start, and i was happy wiht blaine/kap/UDFA or 7th rd QB....but certainly MDs idea of chase is a better one...didn't happen tho. So not sure how this shakes out but lordy, would i ever love to be a fly on the wall at #7 in the draft war room first day. Man don't you know that would be a conversation you could sell as a best seller. But the audio would be best.

If Jack or Buckner are gone then we can trade down #9 or #11 that we must grab at Josh Doctson, WR TCU. Check my video post as my name. I think Lawson looked like little slow and probably is not a great plays. We can grab at Branson Kaufusi, DE by 3rd round

sounds like he's meeting with the Chargers, I still think they go Ramsey if there.

They have a gazillion holes to fill. Makes more sense for them to trade down to a team needing a QB. Same with Dallas, and Baltimore

yeah it was hard to watch Rivers get hit so much last year...OL I think is their top need.

Assuming someone wants to give up their entire draft to get to 3 and take a QB. Not worth it, IMO. I think they take Ramsey and grab OT early in the 2nd

I reluctantly agree as far as QB is concerned.

I feel someone will trade up ahead of us and neither will be available.

Also Buckner will be gone.

We need a Pass Rusher, OL, and DL in our "Rebuild'

So many "If's" - AD, Kap, Ian,

Whatever position we pick at #7 I hope it isn't a DBack.

Giving up your entire draft to get a franchise QB is ABSOLUTELY worth it

I dont agree. There is no guarantee as to what you end up getting ultimately. The Redskins gave up a buttload of picks for RG3 and have nothing to show for it.

Not to be a prude, but I seriously have no idea why people like Buckner at all.
