DeForest Buckner DL - Oregon

Oregon DL DeForest Buckner best schematically fits the Chargers, Ravens and 49ers, according to Pro Football Focus' Michael Renner.

"Buckner is the prototype for what the 3-4 defensive end once was and Oregon is one school that still utilizes players in that role heavily. Ideally he goes to a 3-4 team still, but with his immense physical skills I wouldn't think twice about handing in my card with his name on it if I'm a 4-3 team in need of an interior force," Renner explained. Buckner led all FBS interior players in snaps. He even played over 100 snaps in two games this year, an incredible feat of stamina.

I just don't see how the Chargers could pass on Buckner, they were just as bad against the run and pass than the 49ers, if anything they need more help on their D-line than the 49ers do. With Jason Verrett, Brandon Flowers and Casey Hayward in their secondary, I think they can afford to pass up Ramsey for Buckner.

No no didn't they sign mebane? Also Corey Liuget who's a beast was injured this past season. Ingram wasn't 100% either,but he's pretty damn good....honesty the chargers and Ravens were killed by injuries more than lack of talent.

Still don't see how they pass on the best safety to come out since Eric berry.

I love Buckner, but I can't see him getting passed both San Diego and Baltimore. He might get passed SD, but definitely not Baltimore. Ozzie newsome doesn't pass on blue chip defensive prospects.

Not if bosa is sitting there, Baltimore will draft bosa over him IMO( reports are they like bosa a lot).

Dallas is the wild card, word is they are they have wentz top three on their board and zeke very vey high as well.

Ask bolts fans who'd they prefer Ramsey is regarded as the best player in the draft, not saying it's a no brainier both are studs but like I said they signed mabane and luiget is healthy. If I was a bolts fan I'd want Ramsey no bias there at all. I don't have Buckner at the top of my boards either just how the board fell

That was a good idea,so I googled a San Diego Chargers forum most fans want Tunsil, Jack, Conklin, and Buckner, in that order.
That being said I think that there's a solid chance that they take Buckner. I just hope they don't. I want him.
