You would hope that they get OL taken care of this year so that they don't need to draft any more OL early next year. Plenty of depth and talent at guard and center especially.
ESPN's Sports Science listed Buckner at a maximum vertical touching point at 11' 4". Blake Griffin at 11' 9 1/2", and Jalen Ramsey at 11'9". Ramsey's athleticism is off the chart.

More like its a great game by Conklin, who really is one of the most underrated players in the draft. He punked Bosa a few times too.
I don't think many realize that Conklin is going top 15, maybe top 10. Wouldn't be shocked to see him go before Stanley. One of the great college battles last year.

Jesus. This video is making me question everything I thought about Buckner. Conklin embarrassed him a few times.
It is a battle of future NFL studs. Both won, and both loss. It is a great preview. Buckner played against some stud left side OL this year in Conklin, Garnett, Seumalo, Westerman, Dahl, Nembot, and sometimes against USC's Banner (who played RT in this game) had off the charts production for a 34 DE. I don't think anyone had the gauntlet of talent to face week-to-week. He is going to be very good at the next level..

One more note on Sports Science and Buckner. He hand length is 11 3/4", which is longer than a standard piece of paper, and longer than the length of an NFL football. It is like us playing with a Pee-Wee football.
If Buckner is there, he's the pick. If not I can see Baalke inquiring into the Wilk trade where he can slide back to 20 and have a ton of options between pass rusher, WR, OL or even already be in position to grab Cook if he is truly that interested in him. Buckner is in play; either we take him or we try and make moves...IMO
Oregon DL DeForest Buckner told 247Sports' Justin Hopkins that he has been in regular communication with the Chargers, Cowboys, Jaguars and Titans.
Conveniently, the Chargers, Cowboys and Jaguars are all lined up snugly against each other in the draft order at No's 3, 4 and 5, respectively. While the 6-foot-7, 290-pound Buckner could land with any of those three teams, he won't be tromping to the stage in Chicago to envelop Roger Goodell in a bone-crushing hug (alas). Buckner indicated to Hopkins that he plans on staying home in Hawaii to watch draft festivities. Pro Football Focus sees the Chargers as offering a nice schematic fit.
