If you have the choice, do you take Buckner, the prototypical 4-technique that really couldn't be a better fit for the 49ers scheme on defense or do you take Bosa who might work out as a 3-4 OLB but unquestionably is best suited to be a DE in a 4-3.
I'd take Buckner in a heartbeat..only players I'd pick over him are the two QBs. I think Bosa can make the move from DE to OLB....give him the same snap count that Smith had as a rookie.
I don't think both will reach 7, but I'd probably take Buckner if they did. I wouldn't be unhappy with either, or a trade down to get Butler, Lawson, or Spence and some more rolls of the dice. Trading back to 20 for Wilk, then landing Spence/Lawson/Conklin, etc at that spot would be a pants-destroying dream come true.
