Honestly, we are not going to end up agreeing on this. Elite 3-4 ends are extremely hard to find. You are absolutely right. And an elite 3-4 end can make a huge impact. However, if you are not going to have a Justin Smith, JJ Watt type player, you can find starters later in the draft.
What it comes down to is that you think Buckner is elite, and I don't. Only time will tell, and I hope you're right. I just wanted us to address other positions of need, keeping in mind how few 3-4 ends actually end up being elite.
aaaand this is why you can't please everyone.
He upset probably because on his mock he had us taking an OT. We have a huge gap in talent on our DL. Buckner is a welcomed site.
