Watson IMO should be a top 15 pick. 2 is too rich for him. I like him but at 2 it's not smart value wise.

Sad thing is he is the most ready to start of the group of QB's even with all that against him. Seriously would you rather start a guy who only has one season of experience loaded with a lot of up and down play or another guy who couldn't complete 60% of his passes against non ranked teams to start day 1?

No f**king joke, Patrick Mahomes did just this earlier in the year:

Now that is truth!. Alabama looks like a professional D if ever there has been one. They might have 8 or 9 of the best D players in the NCAA. And Watson( ok, and Williams) still beat them. What a terrific game. Not that many NCAA championships are that good but this one...was a pistol.

He shredded a historically dominant defense. Thats damn impressive no matter what scheme he runs.

Exactly. The hate is ridiculous

No! You don't understand! Trubisky's roster is the worst!

But they were NFL ready INT's.

I have no idea how this game could make anyone think he is an NFL QB. Great college QB -sure. Great athlete-sure. Great clutch performance-sure, but his entire night was one read throws on slant routes or jump balls to Mike Williams.
Deshawn Watson =Vince Young

Can you name one thing Dak Prescott did in college that Watson hasn't already done better and/or against better competition?

Not just beat them. He shredded them. 420 yards through the air, 3 pass TDs, 145.0 QB Rating and a rushing touchdown. Whoa!
#1 overall pick = QB desperate NFL team coupled with a college national champ who excelled in the spotlight, under pressure, who is a winner and who has proven he has intangibles that cannot be minimized by the objective draft guru. Go Browns and let Garret drop to us at #2.
I think any Watson doubters have to be convinced now that he's the real deal. Great performance tonight when it counted the most. Very impressive. Clemson will have a lot of players drafted, for sure. Love their TE Leggett and of course Mike Williams. He got his bell rung pretty good, but shook it off and made a bunch of plays.

None of these guys should be starting from Day 1 if their respective teams are smart.

Curious... what today showed you he is not ready to start day 1?
Deshaun Watson on deep throws: 3 for 7 for 76 yards.
