Same thing can be said about kaepernick and gabbert. I'd rather have gabbert said no one ever (who actually knows anything about football)

Who is hating on him?

Some of you guys are just getting carried away by the championship game. Nobody questions how good Watson is in college or his ability to come through late in games and win but it is still college. As talented as that Alabama defense is they're still college kids and some of them will not play in the NFL.

The NFL is a different ball game and the offense Watson will have to run in the NFL will not be as simple as it was in Clemson and the talent around him may not be as good as it was in Clemson(relative to NFL that is)

When you're drafting a QB at #2 overall you have to be damn sure the flaws in him are easy to correct and the strengths far outweigh the weaknesses.

Does he have potential to be elite? Absolutely but there are still concerns about him at the NFL level that should be discussed and stating them is not "hating" on the kid. And the comparison to Cam Newton I'm not sure if it should be taken as a good one.

Yes we will , three years from now Watson it will be a better NFL QB than Trubisky , go ahead and book mark the post
