Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson - Legit alternative to Jared Goff in 2017?

He will be closely monitored. Let's see what he does this year.

What??? This draft has much more talent in the top 5 than last year. Watson and Garrett are much better prospects than anyone in the 2016 draft so it should cost a lot more to trade up to #1 or #2 than it did last year. Fournette is also much better than Elliott who was picked fourth.

If we're outside the top 5, we're looking at giving up multiple first round picks to get Watson.

i disagree

certain areas it was stronger other areas its weaker

this upcoming draft will be very strong in pass rushers and RB

You realize Garapolo would be a heck of a lot more proven in the NFL than Watson right? It's not that I'm against Watson...if we have an early enough pick but I doubt we'll have #1 overall which is what it will take so trading a 2nd round pick for Jimmy G and drafting a stud player at another position with the first rounder could be a better idea than giving up a bounty to try to move up for Watson.

if watson is on the board when we draft we should take him no matter what im not in favor of trading up for him however

its to early to say that

kelly is a fit and a top talent (like watson) he does have maturity issues though

i like kaaya as he is pro ready but he doesnt fit this offense(hes not that mobile)

mayfield and falk are easily potential risers but imo neither are ready day 1 but they both have lot of talent

Unfortunately I live in Mississippi and I've seen a ton of Chad Kelly. Would not touch him with a ten foot poll. Mayfield is what, 5'10"? It's Watson or bust.

why do you say that abou tkelly on the field he has had good games against top defenses

Which mean Mayfield is 5'8". Ultimately he's not nearly the QB or player Watson is. Not even close.

Nope. Doesn't have that strong of an arm and accuracy is shaky. He is surrounded by a lot of offensive talent, especially at WR. Ever noticed the size of of WRs and TEs? Seems that Hugh Freeze doesn't recruit receivers under 6'2".
Our chances of getting Watson just took a hit with the news that Tony Romo broke his back. We may win that game now with their starting QB and several defensive players out

Luke Falk.

Prescott could also seize that job with Romo never getting it back. He has the opportunity on a roster that is about as rookie QB friendly as it gets.
we won't be high enough to draft him...
I really like him. I hope we will be able to draft him.
