Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson - Legit alternative to Jared Goff in 2017?

Well he did win a playoff game... not pretty but he did it lol.

Same with VY, he won games in the NFL and almost did a complete 180 when he took an 0-6 team to a 8-8 team. But unfortunately his personality issues flamed him out of the league.

Watson will win games in this league, but he needs to really work on his craft and have a stable head in order to prevent being the next VY or Tebow.
He has an incredibly weak arm. He will be a pick machine in the NFL.

Ever notice how he and Tubustky look a lot alike? Tebow's best college season is also almost identical to Michelle best, I mean only season in college football too.

It's identical if you've never watched either of them play.

Absolute joke take here. I was actually rewatching a Clemson game this weekend where Brock Huard was commentating and talking about how the balls that Watson was throwing that night were cutting through what was a substantial wind without showing any ill effects. He praised Watson's arm strength and precision while discussing the matter and said that is what you look for in NFL talent.

"Joke take?"

So, we have the opinion of Brock Huard vs. Measured Velocity. And the measured velocity gets called a "joke take?"

Donovan McNabb.. who in his prime was effing Great. I took Watson in a mock to the Redskins. I think thatd be a great fit and their fan base would be stoked and not scared that Kirk is leaving next year

Oh boy...Let's put an alleged velocity measure together from one artificial setting where the kid was in the process of making every other QB there look stupid with how good his throws were. Seems legit.

On mobile, but other NFL reporters responded later with higher velocity numbers gathered from different outings. How anyone could actually watch the kid play and question his arm is beyond me for sure but hey let's make up some stupid s**t to obsess over at draft time.

I think any team not named the 49ers is a good place for him .

4 QBs I'd rather have: Biscuit, Evans, Mahomes, Webb. All threw harder than Watson. Let's check out their 2016 Interceptions to Attempts ratio (how many picks did they throw relative to the number of passes they threw in total - smaller the number the better):

Biscuit: .013
6 int
447 att

Evans: .019
8 int
422 att

Mahomes: .017
10 int
591 att

Webb: .019
12 int
620 att

Watson: .030
17 int
579 att

Which one of these is not like the other?

He will be a pick machine in the NFL. He does not have an NFL arm.
