Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson - Legit alternative to Jared Goff in 2017?

Im started to get that feeling alot of people are starting to seriously feel Garrett may be overated as Fu*k

Yeah that concerns me a little bit as well, but unlike Kap Deshaun will live in the film room and work until he hopefully gets it.

Idk what makes you say he's "one read mobile qb". He's athletic but a pass first qb. Also, you've never seen him in a 3-4 read system, so you can't say he won't go through his reads.

He seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and everything you'd want in a DE, but a great DE isn't going to have the same impact a really good QB will.

So if they believe Watson/trubisky will be a great QB, it makes sense to pass up Garrett. Just look at Texans. They have JJ and clowney, two amazing players. But they don't have competent QB play so no one worries about them.

So I'd understand why they pass him up. If Garrett falls to us I would hope we trade back with someone in the top 4-6 so they can get Garrett and then we get a fortune plus draft Watson. It would be brilliant

I trust Shanny with the QB matters, if he likes Watson better than Trubisky, I'll go along with his decision.

That's how I feel too, and vice Versa. If we take trubisky, then I'll give him the benefit of the doubt about knowing more than I do when it comes to qb evaluations lol

I wouldnt be mad, this is my qb of choice in this draft. If this is who Shanahan wanted id be fully confident and very optimistic of the pick

Yeah, back in January I had Trubisky and Watson neck and neck. I trust Shanny will make the right choice.
