Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson - Legit alternative to Jared Goff in 2017?

What HC's and GM's come out and admit stuff like that at a seasons end ?

And there is absolutely no shame in being wrong, finding and developing FQB's is a thing of tremendous difficulty. Even the greatest of talent evaluators are going to be wrong at times.

Solon Thomas looks good too though. We 100% needed to draft Thomas to solidify our D-Line. We may even need to go d-line in the first round for the next two years in order to secure pass rushing DE's.

Dashon Watson looks good, but we have Brian Hoyer who knows KS system. We needed a guy who knows the system so that the offense would be sharp from the start.

Also, Cousins will be a free agent and just like Hoyer he knows the system.

Soon Watson, similar to Kap will forget how to play football or the league will catch up to him because qb's like Watson are unable to sustain long term success. So glad we chose Thomas over Watson.

Vince Young and RG3 says hi.

Colin Kaepernick says hi while kneeling, he was awesome at that read option stuff!!

.......we'll come back to this post in two years. Until then I'd hold off on crowning him.

Two years? Hoyer has been in the league since 2009. How long do you need to evaluate a quarterback before you realize he's either good or no good?

31 teams are wrong about multiple players every draft.

Of course shanny knows Hoyer isn't a winning franchise QB. He also never said or implied that deshaun isn't a better QB.

Did you get the mph on that throw?

I don't know, I'm really going to need to get a velocity reading first before I can determine whether or not DW4 had the arm strength to complete that pass.

Shakes off a tackler in the pocket, then casually tosses it 55 yards in the air for a perfect TD.

His last TD on 4th down wasnt half bad, either.

So far, Watson is looking a lot like Russell Wilson. Doesn't put up sexy stats but is mobile, can escape the pocket, and makes big plays at critical times.

He's at 8 TD's and counting for the last two weeks.

He's a much better passer than Wilson. His stats might not be sexy tonight, but they were very sexy the two games before this one. Not a terrible comparison, but DW4 has way more upside IMO.

Yeah, he's putting up plenty of sexy stats out there. Got off to a slow start tonight, but he's been lighting it up most of the last three starts.

Was talking in terms of yardage and completion percentage.
