If the price tag is that much , no doubt that's better

three 1st rounders??

ONLY Mahomes is worth that much... plus, Wats a bit overrated IMO !!!

Ramsey and Mack fetched 2 firsts plus. So Watson being a 25 year old FQB makes sense as being in the neighborhood of 3 firsts.

I understand how much they will ask from him, but he's NOT that good..

Someone would pay for it if they were to put him on the trade block.

Washington and Chicago come to mind.

He would never waive no trade clause to go to either of those teams. Watson said he would consider Miami for Tua and picks.

He might consider Miami, but that doesn't mean Caserio and the Texans would be willing to make that deal.
They won't trade him to us. Maybe if our coach was Jim Tomsula. But Houston ain't trading him here with Kyle as the coach.
Sounds like he's a cancer.

Mad about insensitivity about social justice issues? Mad they didn't hire a black gm?

Cmon man

why? We've obviously done biz with the Pats in the past (yes I realize Hou is not the Pats). I would think we would have the advantage because we are in the NFC. Just like Belichick didn't want to trade Jimmy to an AFC team, I could certainly see that being the case with Watson as well.

What? That's not why he's mad. It's because they told him they would listen to him and wanted his input on the hires and when he told them some guys they didn't listen to him and didn't even interview the guys he wanted.

I mean That would break my trust.

on top of the fact they traded away DeAndre Friggen Hopkins his main target and he STILL led the league in passing yards. Yeah I'd be mad too.

serious question, where did you see that or did you see that take?
Playing for Shanahan is going to be a very atractive idea for every QB out there and I don´t doubt that Watson would like the idea too.

What about if Caserio hires Josh McDaniels?.....after all, MacDaniels was Garoppolo´s OC & QB´s coach for 3.5 years. In that case I can see a Watson to SF like a very realistic scenario.

As I said the other day: Garoppolo + Deebo + 1st pick 2021 + 1st pick 2022 and maybe an intermediate pick.

In the last 6 years he has lost 40% of the games because of injuries.

Let´s trade him before the league realizes that he can´t stay healthy.

Both were in a tweet but it looks like they were deleted now.

I can see why he's mad by them reneging on the GM search but it's Houston's fault for getting his opinion in the first place.

He'll he the next Matt stafford if he doesn't get out but guys like this scare me because they can blow an entire team up IMO ala T.O.

Plus the cost will be too much and we'll be the next Houston Texans. All world qb and nothing around him.
Make the deal. Give up 3 picks, Jimmy and throw in Ford🤣
I'll be happy with either of these 4 scenarios.
1. Trade for Watson
2. Trade for Stafford
3. Keep Jimmy G and draft a qb in the 1st round.
4. Keep Jimmy and draft an OL or CB in the 1st.

Any scenario out there you'd get passed about or are you generally just really happy?

It's funny cause if you reverse the order I think its the most likely to happen. Priority 1 is a solid oline. No matter who is behind center. Keep trent, maybe sign a solid interior line. Make mcglinchey gain at least 15 lbs and see what he got, and draft another young interior linemen in the draft. The oline will be just fine. That way if we decide to keep jimmy and he doesn't perform we have our answer.
