Dude has earned it. I'm not sure anybody can make a compelling argument for Trubisky over Watson. It's just preference.

No disputing Watson is an all-time great.

I still think they'll draft Garrett and then either toss the dice hoping a QB falls to them with the backup plan of acquiring Garapollo or they'll trade up from their 2nd first round pick to get a QB after taking Garrett.

Gonna be a lot of pressure on the browns from the fans to take watson.

I think it puts Watson 2nd in the draft. Still behind Mitch but clearly ahead of Kizer. But, that can all change after the combine and workouts.

Because the best college quarterback isn't necessarily the best NFL prospect. I definitely think Watson can do well in the NFL but he's going to need to play to an offense specifically geared towards his skillset. The guy he would have fit best with just got s**tcanned a week ago.


Maybe he could follow chip to Cal, if that holds up.

Trubisky also doesn't play with an offense stocked with NFL talent. His most NFL ready receiver is a 5'9" slot receiver.


Not sure why people have to knock a player to appreciate another. I'm happy both Watson and Trubisky are in the draft, I think they both have special talent in their own right. Options are not a bad thing at all.

I saw one sideline completion on a corner route that was an NFL throw but I agree with your point.

That corner route with his back to his own goal line was a biiiiig time NFL throw.

That was the closest thing to an NFL game against an NFL defense that u will get in NCAA.
