Dude. Extrapolate some. If his game translates better to the NFL than all but 4 other players, wouldn't that make him the 5th best player in the draft, all said and done? Isn't that what you want in a QB? A guy who plays well in the NFL? If he has the 5th best career in the draft class, we'd view him as the 5th best player in this draft, after his career. MD even said, he's putting his cards on the table in that post. He's listing the guys he thinks will be the best. I get that it's not a mock. Tennessee doesn't need a QB. But hey, if you need a QB, and you're at #2, why is it a bad idea to get the top QB, who also happens to be the guy that's gonna have the 5th best career in the draft class, regardless of position?
Good lord if that's the case why don't the browns take him at one? I mean qb trumps all positions right?
They might not like him. They might be able to sell "Mr. Ohio" a little better, and they might want to get Garrett and hope one of their top guys falls, if they don't have a wide gap b/w their favorites. They have a 2nd high 1st rounder. We don't.
Shoot, Shanahan might not even like him. I do, and if Shanahan does too, they should go get him. IF he's going to be a pro bowl QB, then he's more important than anyone else in the draft. I think he is. I was pumped when I though we could steal him at 66, still pretty excited when I thought we could snag him at 34, and bummed now that it seems like a lot of the internet is on his nuts. If he's the guy, you go get him. You might not ever have another chance to get your favorite QB in a draft.
