If it's true that he is (Shanahan) favorite QB in the draft then I'm sure taking him in the 2nd or maybe even 3rd is not really taking a chance.

To clarify- it was reported that Mahomes is Chris Simm's favorite prospect. Simms is a close friend of Shanny's. That doesn't mean he's KS's favorite.
