I'd rather have a chance at getting one of darnold, Rosen, Kirk, Jimmy G, Allen over him plain and simple. You keep looking at mahomes ceiling and not even thinking about his floor.

Yeah, I agree...that's what I meant by Coach reining him in some. I think being aggressive is a good problem to have...and that's why I think Shanahan would welcome the challenge to transform Mahomes into a legit NFL QB. Like I said, I could be wrong about Coach being intrigued about Mahomes, but the kid's got a lot of talent...he's always looking downfield to make a play & when everyone's covered, he can tuck the ball and run with it. Having Hoyer for the next 2-yrs allows time to get Mahomes ready to play.
